TLC ’90 Day Fiance – The Other Way’ Spoilers: More Problems Between Jihoon And Deavan As Things Are Lost In The Translation

TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way” stars Jihoon Lee and Deavan Clegg have even more problems in the next episode of “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way” when things are lost in the translation of an electronic translator that doesn’t always get it right!

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Deavan, Jihoon, And Deavan’s Parents Are Sitting Around A Table

Deavan, Jihoon, and Deavan’s parents are sitting around a table in his parents’ home, along with Deavan and Jihoon’s baby Taeyang, who is in a baby carrier. Deavan’s daughter Drascilla does not appear to be present and is probably with Deavan’s mother Elicia. Viewers will recall that Elicia and Deavan traveled with the little ones to Korea this time, thinking that Jihoon had finally been ready to provide for Deavan and the children, but when they got there, they found out that was not the case.

Jihoon’s father starts out, apologizing for their guestroom being so small, which Deavan apparently is staying in after they had traveled such a long way to be there. Deavan says to hold on a minute, as she reaches in her purse for the translator that she uses for herself and Jihoon to be able to communicate, as she knows no Korean and he knows little if any English at all, which is also the case with his parents.

As she digs in her purse for the translator and brings it out, Jihoon’s mother asks him to tell them what she said. He tries to say “translator” as he motions with his hand like he is holding one. He tries to explain that one speaks into it and it translates, but that the translation is crappy! She lays it on the table, then he tells them to press it when they speak.

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Jihoon Lee’s Father Tries To Apologize For Not Sending Financial Support

Jihoon’s father takes the translator and takes it upon himself to apologize for not sending financial support, and says he’s sorry. Deavan, visibly sad and upset after she and Jihoon’s fight in the last episode, looks down. There is silence. Jihoon explains that the translator cannot handle a long sentence like that and that it will not translate properly.

He hands it back to Deavan. She speaks into it and tells Jihoon it’s his responsibility, not his parents, to take care of her and the children financially. She puts the translator down on the table again. Jihoon’s father nods while his mother looks very serious. Jihoon, speaking into the translator, admits that he was wrong.

To Deavan, he promises to work hard so that she will not have to worry about money while she is there in Korea, and promises to take care of the kids. Deavan takes the translator back and repeats back to Jihoon what he promised, and reminds him that he had told her the same exact thing four months ago, as his parents continue to look concerned. Jihoon then takes the translator back and says he was very selfish and that he is very sorry.

His mother looks sad as he hands the translator back to Deavan. She asks why his money is going into his mom’s bank account, as his mom looks a little embarrassed! Deavan continues, wanting to know what the money was that he has been giving his mother! Meanwhile, his mother continues to look more and more uncomfortable.

Jihoon tells Deavan that it’s the money he gets from his delivery job. He gives it to his mother for safekeeping. His father interjects that he thinks that was a mistake. His father continues, gesturing towards Deavan, saying that she needed the money after giving birth in the hospital, and tells Jihoon to apologize to Deavan for that! Jihoon again picks up the translator and says he was afraid of making another mistake.

didn’t want to waste the money, obviously not trusting himself not to spend it. Jihoon takes a deep breath as Deavan appears shocked, and looks down at the translator – to the producers, he admits the translator didn’t translate what he was trying to say correctly, and it only made things worse!
