A meeting at a local restaurant included an awkward period after greetings were exchanged. Jenny was glad to see Amit, as she met him before. Summit knew that his brother meant well, but wasn’t sure how another meeting would change their parent’s minds.

While divorce in India can take a number of years, Sumit’s lawyer believed that this particular situation was progressing. Money wasn’t a sticking point, as Sumit addressed the financial request his intended ex-wife made.

The arranged marriage wasn’t one that either Sumit or his spouse wanted to continue. Even though Sumit lied to Jenny in the past about being married, she was satisfied that he was telling the truth now and wanted to deal with the next step in the process of marrying him.

Parental Approval Might Not Be Possible

Amit told Jenny that he and Sumit’s parents aren’t in favor of this intended marriage. The age difference between them, being three-plus decades, was perceived as creating a negative impact on the family’s social circle, along with violating societal norms.

Sumit appreciated Amit’s offer to serve as a go-between. But Sumit didn’t see the logic in doing so, as he’d spoken with their parents before. Serious emotional strife resulted at that time, with Sumit and Jenny splitting.

A seeming false choice has created great anguish. Sumit doesn’t feel that he should be made to pick between the woman he loves and his parents.

90 Day Fiance Spoilers – Love Isn’t Fading For Likable Couple

Jenny hadn’t posted a photo to Instagram since late June when she shared a five-photo collage of the couple’s images of Sumit and herself. It seems unusual that Jenny hadn’t updated her popular social media account, that had over two hundred and seven thousand followers as of the first August episode airing.

Sumit’s frustration is understandable, as he fears that he could lose his connection with Jenny or his family. Alternatively, he and Jenny could try to wait out his parents indefinitely, as this reality couple’s love isn’t fading. Possibly time will provide a breakthrough for this likable pair.
