Tracker spoilers and updates reveal the latest buzz on the seemingly MIA Bobby Exley’s (Eric Graise) return. Here’s what fans of the CBS drama need to know.
Bobby Turned Up In The Latest Episode
Bobby turned up in the latest episode of the CBS show on Sunday, March 31 as he, Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) and Reenie Greene (Fiona Rene) raced against time to find someone. A talented MMA fighter had disappeared as she tried to solve her family’s visa troubles.
This has been the first that Bobby’s been seen since Episode Nine, and his cousin had taken his place as Colter’s techie.
So is this just a one-off, and Bobby will disappear again, or will he continue to be part of Colter’s team? Read on to see what’s been going on and what you need to know.
Colter Has Lost Some Team Members
Colter is not the sole force behind Tracker, but he has seen a few team members depart since the series debuted last year. Fans expressed concern for Bobby, who has been absent from several episodes.
In his absence, Bobby’s cousin Randy Exley (played by Chris Lee) stepped in as the tech expert.
Many were curious whether Bobby would return permanently, and viewers have now received clarity regarding the fate of this beloved character from the CBS action drama adventure series.
Where Was Bobby?
Bobby Exley has been absent since Tracker Season 2, Episode 9, titled “The Disciple.” While Colter may have been pursuing a “ghost,” it appears that Bobby has effectively vanished from his life after that episode, marking six episodes of his absence. Was he no longer part of the show, where’d he disappear to?
In the episode, “The Grey Goose,” viewers finally got a glimpse into his situation; during a conversation about a hostage case, Colter inquired with Randy about any updates on his cousin Bobby.
Randy replied, “You know how he is; he tends to avoid discussing personal matters.” Colter remembered that the last he heard, Bobby was attending a “friend’s funeral;” the plot thickened when Randy added, “I know it’s really affecting him. They were like brothers.”
Colter Hadn’t Received Answers From Bobby In Response To His Texts
Additionally, Colter Shaw disclosed that he had reached out to Bobby via text several times but had not heard back. The only explanation he received was that Bobby was “just taking some time for himself.”
Randy chimed in, saying, “He will return to it—and if he doesn’t, I’ll ensure he does. There’s no escape except through.” If Colter weren’t so absorbed in his current case, he might begin to question Bobby’s absence; although Randy has excelled in stepping up, Bobby remains an integral member of the team.
The Show Lost A Key Team Member In Season Two
Fans of Tracker might have been feeling the absence of Bobby as Season 2 kicks off with Robin Weigert’s exit from the CBS show. The storyline reveals that Teddi Bruin (Weigert) needed some space from her spouse, Velma Bruin (Abby McEnany).
Teddi played a significant role in Season 1, but in the new season, Velma and Reenie (Fiona Rene) have developed a strong partnership.
Velma mentioned that Teddi “is going to be away for a while; she’s helping her mom get things in order- I was a bit of a distraction, and it wasn’t beneficial.”
Velma reassured viewers, “So I returned; Don’t worry, I’m keeping myself occupied;” unlike Eric Graise, it seems that Robin Weigert won’t be making a comeback to the series anytime soon.
