The fans won’t have to wait that long to see their favorite series return either, it it set to premiere on October 13th at 8PM so everyone can rejoice now.
This season promises to deliver into more of the mystery surrounding the Shaw family and how it affects the relationship between the two brothers.

When we first got to see the relationship between the Shaw brothers in season one, it was frosty at best. This season, the two will be reunited over a case involving, of all things, UFOs?
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reid said, “There is a secret that is revealed about their father that lands with both brothers. There is a memory you’ll see that Colter doesn’t have that his brother does about their father. Now that the brothers are on better terms, they can actually compare notes and make some progress.”

In the episode where Ackles premiered, it really gave the brothers a chance to work together, highlighting their strengths. Justin Hartley, who also executive produced the show said about Ackles, “Jensen came and he enhanced [the character] in every way.
He augmented the character with tiny touches he adds as an actor, so he made this his own in a big way.” That’s what we love about Jensen Ackles, the characters he portrays are always so memorable.

Family life.may be going better for Colton but his professional life is about to take a sharp left. Teddi Bruin (Robin Weigert) will not be returning to season 2, instead her wife, Velma Bruin (Abimby McEnany) will be working with Colter instead.

Elwood Reid said that the show intends to write off Teddi and that season 2 will show how her leaving has impacted the team.
The couple has separated, “Velma is struggling with what it means to be abandoned in some ways, and she’ll work her way through that emotion.” During Teddi’s absence, it looks like Reenie (Fiona Rene) will be working with Velma.
