TV reboot news reveals that an old favorite is going to be coming back to our television screens. We are talking about Saved By the Bell. There are two original cast members that will be appearing on the reboot. Find out which ones they are, as well as what could happen on the revived television series.
About the Original Saved By the Bell
The original television show aired from 1989 to 1993. The first year featured a group of students taught by a teacher named Miss Bliss (Haley Mills). It was originally titled Good Morning, Miss Bliss, but was repackaged as part of the Saved By the Bell series in reruns.
One year later, the teenagers grew and moved onto Bayview High School. Then, there was also Saved By the Bell: The College Years.
The series focused on Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), Samuel “Screech” Powers (Dustin Diamond), Kelly Kapowski (Tiffany Thiessen), Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley), Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies) and their principal, Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins).

About the Saved By the Bell Reboot
According to TV Insider, much isn’t known about the Saved By the Bell reboot. However, IMDB does list the reboot as having 10 episodes, so we expect it to be released on NBCU’s Peacock sometime in 2020. The reboot doesn’t officially have a title yet. Also, this synopsis was posted on IMDB’s website,
“A follow-up series to the 1980s sitcom. A group of California low-income high school students are transferred to Pacific Palisades’ wealthy Bayside High, following a program by California Governor Zack Morris.”
Mario Lopez Returning as A.C. Slater
It is confirmed that Mario Lopez will be making a comeback. If he had to guess, he will probably be a gym teacher or football coach.

Lopez has won roles on Jane the Virgin, NCIC: New Orleans, Nashville, Nip/Tuck and The Bold and the Beautiful.
TV Reboot News: Elizabeth Berkley Coming Back
Elizabeth Berkely is supposed to also be coming back for the Saved By the Bell reboot. However, we are not sure what kind of role she will play. Her character, Jessie, was always the type-A personality, super-serious study-aholic student with high aspirations.
Berkley has appeared on CSI: Miami, The L Word, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Without a Trace, Crime Scene Investigation and NYPD Blue.
