The View hosts just can’t seem to stay out of the headlines. Whoopi Goldberg made headlines today after literally stopping filming to yell at the audience.
Apparently, Goldberg also doubles as The View’s security. Keep reading for all the details, and more The View cast news.
Does anyone actually watch The View to keep abreast in current events? It’s ironic that the hosts of The View sit around a table and gossip every morning, but then they turn in to the day’s gossip.
The View – Hot Topics Gets Interrupted
Goldberg and the cast were having an interesting discussion regarding Donald Trump‘s civil fraud case.
Sunny Hostin was left confused when Whoopi jumped out of her chair and began scolding a man in the audience for filming the women on stage with his personal cell phone.
The cameras never panned to the audience to show the man in question, but after the shenanigans we’re sure he is mortified.
According to TV Line, “During Tuesday’s episode of the ABC gabfest, moderator Whoopi Goldberg halted Hot Topics to reprimand an audience member who, rather than watch the show being produced in front of his eyes, pulled out his phone and began to record.”
Whoopi Goldberg – Has Got It Handled
The View cameras caught Whoopi Goldberg saying, “Sir, sir… I have to stop you with the camera, as I can see you. Do me a favor: Don’t pull it out again. I’d appreciate that. Thank you.” Can you imagine getting yelled at by Whoopi Goldberg? The whole scene is giving us Sister Act vibes.
This isn’t the first time The View has had to deal with audience members bringing cell phones in with them and not turning them off.
Last year Goldberg and the cast had to pause their conversation because someone’s alarm was going off.
Do you think Whoopi Goldberg handled the situation well? Or should the producers and crew have dealt with it before she had to? Share your thoughts in the comments below and keep checking back here for more The View news and celebrity updates.
