Whoopi Goldberg prefers to spend her weekends with no one in her house, or in her phone for that matter. If you do disturb her peace, especially during the weekends when she should be relaxing, that’s a big no-no and you’re getting blocked and banned.
Whoopi Goldberg Complains To Her “The View” Co-hosts For Re-adding Her To Their Group Chat
On Monday’s episode of “The View,” Goldberg, who co-hosts and moderates the talkshow, told her fellow hosts that she does not appreciate being re-added to their group chat after she repeatedly keeps removing herself from it to protect her peace.
This new piece of information was revealed when Republican panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin asked the group during a Hot Topics discussion about texting if there was a co-host group thread.
To this, legal expert Sunny Hostin agreed to the group’s existence, but Goldberg told them that she isn’t happy about being involved in the incessant digital communication, which she finds to be disturbing.
“I feel like Michael Corleone, because I take myself off the group texts,” she said, to which Hostin replied: “And Joy [Behar] puts you right back on.”
When Ana Navarro suggested she could “silence” these texts, Goldberg insisted that she wants no part of it, silent or not.
“Silencing y’all does not mean being part of it,” she said. “I don’t care, I don’t care what you’re upset about. It’s the weekend!”
Further down the line, the 68-year-old “Ghost” actress doubled down on her stance, saying, “If I need to talk to you, I’ll talk to you. I communicate when I have something to say. I don’t just be sending y’all stuff. I’m busy.”
Goldberg had previously made it clear that she isn’t impressed with all the AI tools and products in the market. In fact, she even went as far as to caution the American public against embracing it.
