Norman Reedus Claims The Walking Dead Spinoff Is Epic!

The Walking Dead (TWD) fans feared that when Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) pulled out of the Carol and Daryl (Dixon) spinoff, it was the end of the road for Norman Reedus. However, he’s immensely popular, so the show goes on without Carol. Recently, he revealed that it’s not just happening, but that it’s going to be totally “epic.”

The Walking Dead – Norman Reedus Films In France

Back in April, AMC fans started to grow skeptical that the Carol and Daryl spinoff would actually happen. Tired of promises and nothing no show for it, they started losing interest. With Carol departing, it seemed that the spinoff was dead in the water. However, spoilers reveal that the filming continued without Carol and most of it goes down in Europe, in France.

The Walking Dead fans might wonder how the heck Daryl made it to France. Well, there’s a theory floating around that The Helicopters got him there. Recall, when Rick Grimes, (Andrew Lincoln) left the show, he was taken into one of the helicopters, with help from Jadis. Of course, TWD fans heard much more about them since then. However, until Norman Reedus actually appears in his spinoff, that’s not clear.

The Walking Dead – Daryl Dixon Promises Differences

AMC fans are supposed to be excited about the different feel that the spinoff brings. But, nobody really likes change. Hopefully, Daryl Dixon at least retains his mysterious and solid character. He’s been around in the series since episode 3 when his brother was handcuffed to the roof of a building. He stuck around and miraculously survived many an encounter with the Walkers and other enemies.

The Walking Dead spinoff was recently discussed by Norman and others with EW. According to them, the show’s going to be “way different. The characters are way different. There’s a different tone, there’s different light, there’s a different sound. It’s a whole different vibe. This is going to be f—ing epic.” Of course, those differences could relate to the way the Walkers evolved in Europe, compared to the USA.

The Walking Dead – Will The Various Spinoffs Be As Good As The Original?

The Walking Dead spinoffs sound good, but it’s not clear how many people will tune in and watch them. The initial news that the show was coming to an end was really upsetting. However, all series lose their flavor over time. It remains to be seen if the spinoffs will get a whole lot of viewers. And while it promises to be “epic,” the changes to the feel of it, might not be all that welcome. Recall, they killed off Carl Grimes early and that spoiled the whole thing for everyone.
