CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that there could be a major addition to the CBS sudser if what we’re hearing is true. It seems like a long shot but if you like the odds, what are the chances that Victoria Rowell comes back to the show that made her famous?]
Rowell debuted as Drucilla Winters in 1990 and left in 2007. The split was not an especially friendly one. Rowell sued CBS and Sony following her departure and it would seem unlikely that the character would ever return, especially since she is supposedly dead.
However, strange things happen on soaps, and in real life too, for that matter.
Our CBS insider has leaked that showrunners would like to talk to Rowell, and we’re guessing the only reason for that would be for a comeback.

What Are The Chances That Victoria Rowell Returns To The CBS Sudser?
It would be amazing if Rowell did indeed come back to the show. Many fans would be ecstatic as she was a major fan fave back in the day. As we all know, explaining away a soap demise is a piece of cake for daytime drama writers.
Here are three reasons why Drucilla Winters needs to come back to Genoa City.
#1 Lily Winters Could Use A Supportive Influence
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is Drucilla’s daughter. After an absence from the canvas, she is back in town and about to embark on a whole new life adventure. That calls for a parental influence we think! Yes, Lily is an adult, but do any one of us ever stop needing our parents no matter how old we get?
#2 Lily Would Want To Be A Part Of Devon Hamilton’s Happiness
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is Drucilla’s son. He hasn’t had the easiest life but when she and Neil Winters (the late Kristof St. John) adopted him he was given a new existence. He is now a millionaire in a good relationship and we think that Dru deserves to see her son happy and doing well.

#3 Bringing Drucilla Winters Back Would Reestablish A Core Genoa City Family
In the end, Drucilla’s presence would not only benefit her kids, but it would also go a long way toward reestablishing a core Genoa City family. The Winters clan has added a beautiful dimension to the show and their story would add a nice angle to the show.

It’s time to mend fences. Bring her back and let bygones be bygones.
She needs to come back and shake Phyllis’s world up. Phyliss needs to pay for causing her to fall of the cliff. Sharon could use a good female friend…bring her back!!!! There are so many reasons for her to come back….
Not interested in her type of acting or shennagins. Neil is gone and she should remain deceased.
Absolutely NO to bringing Drucilla back!
Would love to have her back. She could be a major support system to Lily and Devon among others.
What is her type of acting?
