The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 14-18, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin we’re in for an exciting week on the CBS soap. As the week kicks off, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get startling news – the secret witness for the prosecution is none other than Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico)! Billy will be set on questioning Alyssa, and that will land him straight back in jail, since it will be a violation of the terms of his bail.
Mid-week, Billy will have nothing but time on his hands as he sits in jail, and that will lead him to take a long, hard look at his life. Y&R viewers should be in for a wild ride as Billy considers his life and what’s gone wrong. It should be quite introspective, and we may learn something new about Billy before it’s all said and done.
#1 Theo Vanderway Reaches A Big Decision
Other Y&R spoilers say that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will come to his senses and drop his lawsuit against the Abbott family over Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) will. This will come after Summer Newman (Hunter King) calls Theo out for being greedy and lets him know in no uncertain terms that the Abbotts’ settlement offer is a really good deal. It looks like Theo will be off to Paris to run those boutiques soon!
Theo will also impart some wisdom on Summer about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Specifically, Theo will tell Summer that she needs to watch out for Sally, who’s a shark and would go so far as to use Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to throw her off her game. That will lead Summer to rush to Kyle and warn him about Sally, too. Kyle will probably think he’s got a handle on Sally, though. We’ll see how that shakes out.
#2 Nate Hastings Gets Promising News
As the week of December 14-18 progresses on Y&R, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get some uplifting news. Nate will be told that he could benefit from a second surgery on his hand, and that this could lead to him getting back his ability to perform surgery. That will give Nate hope, and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will be right on hand to offer her encouragement and support.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll question Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) motives over something. Perhaps this will have to do with the mega loan that Nick gave Phyllis so that she could reclaim ownership of the Grand Phoenix from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). As Y&R viewers know, Phyllis isn’t thrilled about accepting help from Nick, so that’s kind of a sore subject between them.
#3 Chance Chancellor & Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor Get A Big Surprise
Meanwhile, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will give her son Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) a big surprise of some sort. Y&R viewers will have to tune in to see what that surprise is, but it could have something to do with Abby and Chance’s desire to start a family right away. We’ll see what Nina comes up with.
Other Y&R spoilers say that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will keep a close eye on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as the week of December 14-18 unfolds. As Y&R viewers know, Victor likes to keep tabs on things regarding Adam, and he’ll probably on the lookout for information about exactly why Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) aren’t leaving Genoa City right away.
Of course, as Y&R viewers know, Adam and Chelsea are sticking around town due to Chelsea’s brain aneurysm, which she’ll get treatment for after the holidays. It probably won’t be long before Victor figures all of this out. Back with Sally, she’ll get some words of wisdom from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), most likely about her ambitions to be more than just Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) assistant.
#4 Lily Winters Gets The Third Degree
In addition, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will find herself standing her ground during the week of December 14-18, and finally Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will quiz Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about her feelings for Billy. It looks like Amanda will be back to helping Billy defend himself against the attempted murder charges, and she’ll probably want the full scoop about Billy and Lily’s personal relationship.
It looks like we’re in for a great week! Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check Celebrating The Soaps often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news.

Theo becoming a success. I can't be bothered with the Billy story. No offense to the actor, his acting is good. It is just this Billy story is old. Billy's character needs a brand new story. Give the fine actor who plays Billy something original to perform, a story of his own, not some old beaten to death story that every Billy has been doing.
