5 Crazy ‘Young and the Restless’ Weekly Spoilers: ‘Abbott Week’ – Family Feuds and Bitter Business Battles

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates for the week of June 1-5 tease that viewers will see some very special episodes, all focusing on the Abbott family’s ups and downs and promising to have some of the most heartfelt and endearing Abbott family moments. The episodes will date as far back as 1991 and will capture the hearts of both long-time Y&R viewers who will take a walk down memory lane, as well as newer viewers who will get a chance to see their favorite stars in younger days.

#1 Traci Abbott & Brad Carlton’s Wedding – Y&R Spoilers

On Monday, June 1st, Y&R viewers will see an episode that originally aired on January 11, 1991. In the episode, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) will get married in front of their family and friends. Elsewhere, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) will work against Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) struggles with her alcohol problem.

#2 John Abbott Reclaims Jabot From Victor Newman

On Tuesday, June 2nd, Y&R viewers will see an episode that originally aired on September 17, 1999. In the episode, an emotional John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) will be thrilled when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) tells him that he found a way to get Jabot back from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Jack will tell his father that he wants him to return to the helm of the company with himself and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) by his side. It will be a major victory for the Abbott family.

Meanwhile, Ashley will visit with Victor to thank him for allowing John to get his company back. Victor will tell Ashley that he did it for her as much as he did it for her father. Ashley will tell Victor that even though they have been clashing a lot recently, she found it exhilarating. Victor will ask Ashley to stay in touch as she’s leaving, as the two will have apparently made amends.

#3 Jack Abbott Proposes To Phyllis Summers – Young and The Restless Updates

On Wednesday, June 3rd, Y&R viewers will see an episode that originally aired on September 10, 2001. In the episode, Jack will propose to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in front of a room full of people. Phyllis will be startled and will run out of the room. Eventually, Jack will catch up with her and ask Phyllis to speak with him privately. Once alone, Phyllis will tell Jack that they can’t be together, but he’ll lay his heart on the line, saying that he wants her but that he’ll leave her alone if that’s what she wants.

Meanwhile, Traci will talk with John about Brad and Colleen Carlton (Lyndsy Fonseca). John will wonder if Traci realizes what Colleen and Brad’s relationship is doing to Ashley’s happiness. Traci will respond that while she’s sorry about all the tension, it remains important for Colleen and Brad to bond. Traci will say that unless and until Ashley complains about her and Colleen’s living arrangements, she’ll continue to stay with Brad.

#4 The Abbotts Mourn The Loss Of John Abbott

On Thursday, June 4th, Y&R viewers will see an episode that originally aired on August 24, 2006. In the episode, John’s funeral will be held, but Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman), Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will miss the service. As it will turn out, Jack will have misinformed Gloria about the time of the service in a deliberate attempt to keep her from attending.

After the funeral, at the Abbott estate, Gloria will tell Jack that he was selfish in preventing them from being at the service. Jack will fire back that Gloria was selfish for ruining John’s life. Michael and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will get involved in the argument, and things will turn quite bitter, with Jack telling Gloria that she’s not a part of the family anymore.

#5 Kyle Abbott & Lola Abbott Celebrate Their First Christmas Together – Y&R Spoilers

On Friday, June 5th, Y&R viewers will see an episode that originally aired on December 24, 2019. In the episode, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) will decorate and light their Christmas tree as they enjoy their first Christmas as a married couple. Lola will deal with a little guilt as Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) texts her during her celebration with Kyle.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will extend an invitation to Phyllis to spend the holidays with his family, then he’ll be surprised to hear from Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that she wants him to invite Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for the holidays as well. And across town, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will head to the dive bar where he’ll enjoy a game of poker with some guys.
