5 Wild ‘Young And The Restless’ Weekly Spoilers: Goodbye To Dina – Summer Dumps Kyle – Sharon & Rey Get Engaged

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of October 12-16 tease that the action is going to heat up on the CBS soap, and you won’t want to miss a minute of it! The week will kick off as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) returns to Genoa City alone, after Summer Newman (Hunter King) dumped him with a note. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will demand an explanation from Kyle, but he’ll be just as baffled by Summer’s sudden exit as Phyllis is.

As the week progresses, Kyle will keep a secret while Summer maintains a low profile in Genoa City. It looks like Kyle won’t know that Summer’s back, and she’ll be keeping her return from him for her own reasons. Meanwhile, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have a proposal for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) – she’ll ask him to ask her to marry him! Sharon will be sure of her desire to marry Rey after a tense conversation with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

#1 Sharon Newman Waits For Important News About Her Health

Sharon will await news about her most recent cancer surgery as well, and it looks like the news just might be positive. Of course, Y&R viewers will remember that Sharon’s cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, so she’s not going to be totally out of the woods, but it would be great if she were to hear that her surgery was successful in removing all of cancer at the incision site. Y&R viewers will be hoping for the best for Sharon!

Elsewhere, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam will find themselves at odds, and Chelsea will act out by rushing over to Chancellor Communications and asking Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) if she can spend time with her biological son Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare). That won’t go over well with Billy, and he’ll flatly refuse. Could Chelsea be looking for payback against Billy and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) by using Johnny?

#2 Lily Winters Faces Amanda Sinclair’s Questions About Hilary Hamilton’s Death

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will have an important conversation with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) during the week of October 12-16, during which the topic of Hilary Hamilton’s tragic death will come up. Lily will want to clear the air with Amanda, so she’ll probably want to explain about how Hilary’s death transpired and apologize for the loss of Amanda’s sister.

Later, Lily will call Billy’s bluff about something, which could have to do with the sequel to the exposé that Billy has been wanting to do. Meanwhile, Nate Hasting’s (Sean Dominic) world will spin out of control as he deals with the fact that he slept with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and betrayed Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Devon will summon Nate for a chat about what’s been bothering Elena, and that will put Nate in a difficult position.

#3 Kevin Fisher & Chloe Mitchell Name Their Newborn Son

Other Y&R spoilers say that Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will decide on a name for their newborn son – Miles Mitchell Fisher. Miles will be named after someone important from Kevin’s past, and Chloe will love the name that Kevin picked out. Kevin will also receive a blast from the past during the week of October 12-16, so we’ll see what happens there.

Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will go to great lengths to help Adam in some fashion, so perhaps Victor will be successful in squashing that part two to the exposé. We’ll also see whether Adam is receptive to Victor’s help. Of course, Victor will do just about anything for Adam, and he’s determined to protect the Newman family from Billy’s continued efforts against them.

#4 Nick Newman Tries To Keep The Peace Between Phyllis Summers & Victoria Newman

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be on the Y&R scene as well during the week of October 12-16, as he struggles to keep the peace between Phyllis and Victoria, who are in a battle over the Grand Phoenix. As Y&R viewers know, Victoria now owns 75% of the hotel, and that irks Phyllis. Phyllis will no doubt be looking for a way to get her hotel back, but Victoria could have plans of her own!

Other Y&R spoilers say that Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will be back on the scene as he investigates Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Chance wants a spot on the GCPD, but he’s got that pesky exposé that Paul is aware of. Chance will meet with Paul and ask him point-blank whether Paul is going to rescind his job offer. Paul looks pretty serious in the weekly Y&R preview, so Chance could be out of luck here!

#5 The Abbotts Say Goodbye To Dina Mergeron

Finally, Y&R viewers will see some poignant and sad scenes as Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) reaches the end of her life. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) will come to Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) rescue, which probably means that she’ll produce the “teardrop of love” pendant that Jack has been searching for. Jack knows that the pendant is significant to Dina, and he’ll want to reunite Dina with it before she passes away.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), and Jack will all be on hand to say their final goodbyes to their mother. There should be some tissue-ready scenes, so Y&R viewers should prepare for a touching goodbye.
