Perhaps Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will be watching over the infant, or there’s a possibility that the child is with a family member or nanny.

As Eric won’t be there, so, once the news hits, Sloan will easily be able to lie about the situation, cover it up, or fluff it off.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) may do the same; however, it’s likely that Nicole will be able to influence her hubby and convince him that there is a possibility that Sloan, or whomever, stole the baby. She’ll definitely be able to convince him that something fishy is going on and to investigate it.

Fans know that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will soon put two and two together about Nicole’s baby and blackmail Sloan. If Nicole and EJ can get to him at some point, he may end up spilling it all.
Sloan will catch wind of her lies catching up with her, and she will be desperate to escape any repercussions.
After all, she knows that when Eric finds out what she’s done, it’ll be game over for them, their relationship, and any dreams of raising a family together.
Out of this desperation, she might even drop the baby off at the local fire station or the DiMera mansion and then flee town, for good.
