Disturbing New Details In Y&R Actress’ Assault CaseLast month The Young and the Restless alum Brenda Dickson was back in the news after lying low for decades.  The actress portrayed Jill Abbott BEFORE Jess Walton joined the cast. 

When Dickson left the soap opera, her exit was followed by a media frenzy, million dollar lawsuits, and mafia allegations.

Young And Restless Alum Arrested

Police reports revealed that the 78 year old actress was arrested in July 2026 for battery and assault by the Los Angeles Police Department.  It wasn’t clear who Brenda Dickson attacked at the time or WHY.

But considering her age, we assumed it was some sort of altercation that was blown out of proportion.  However, Dickson went to court yesterday and disturbing new details came to light. 

The Young and the Restless alum was the aggressor and her victim was a child!

New Details In Brenda Dickson’s Case

According to a new report from Michael Fairman, “a man named Richard Chamberlin filed for a civil harassment restraining order against the Y&R alum for hitting his daughter, Isabella, in the face and chest.

He also claims Dickson bumped Isabella with trash bags, made threats, and verbally harassed her and others during the July 8 incident before her arrest.”

Around the time of Dickson’s arrest, she also went on several social media rants about having issues with her neighbors and being kicked out of her house. 

More than likely, the incident being referenced in the court documents has something to do with the soap star’s living arrangements.

 That still doesn’t explain why the elderly actress would put her hands on a child though.

Dickson is currently denying the allegations on social media.  This week she posted a lengthy Instagram post thanking her fans for their support. 

The actress closed with this note, “I’ve never slapped anybody in my life. Love you all and I’ll be back with good news, I’m sure, about my case.”
