- Matt may let everyone think he’s dead

Cane Ashby’s Shock
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 12, reveal that Cane will be blindsided when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) finally comes clean about her cancer possibly returning.
During the Friday, October 9 episode, Lily’s test results came back inconclusive, which means she needs more testing.
That said, Lily has kept all this hush-hush, only telling Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about it since he is her cousin and doctor.
All signs are pointing toward Lily finally coming clean with Cane, so will this bring the two closer or cause them to drift apart?
Detective Burrows’ Bombshell
Across town, Burrows will meet up with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at Society.
While the men will believe he wants to talk about drug dealer Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell), he’ll have other news to pass on.
Burrows will update the Newman brothers about the car accident police found outside of town. In fact, the detective will inform both men that Matt’s fingerprints were found in the vehicle.
The car crash Matt and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) had was brutal, so will the police assume they both died in the crash?

Matt Clark’s Shady Move
Speaking of Matt, The Young and the Restless spoilers for October 12 note that he will remain in hiding.
Has “Evil Matt” taken over “Good Matt”?
Matt returned to Genoa City this past week, post-car crash, with every intention of telling everyone what happened and that Patty escaped. However, he won’t end up doing that.
In fact, if he overhears that the cops think he’s dead, will he play along?
Added teasers reveal that at some point during the week of October 12, Matt will sneak into Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) cottage, so what kind of sketchiness is he up to now?
Annemarie’s Take
Matt letting everyone believe he’s dead would certainly give him the perfect opportunity to move around Genoa City unnoticed.
But sneaking into Sharon’s cottage makes me wonder whether his head injury has brought back the dangerous Matt everyone feared.
What do you think? Is Matt planning something sinister, or will he ultimately prove he’s still one of the good guys? Let’s discuss it in the comments below!
