Off the cusp of learning that Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) was leaving Winters to spend more time with family and open up a non-profit organization, Nate confessed to Lily that he was thinking about returning to medicine for a while now.

In fact, he was inspired by Devon’s move to follow his heart; however, now that Devon is leaving the company, Nate believed that the idea was a wash, as he couldn’t abandon Lily.

All arrows point toward the idea that Lily will encourage Nate to head back to becoming a doctor, if he wants to. She’s a strong businesswoman and can handle anything, right? Will Nate take the plunge?

Cane Ashby’s Warning

Lastly, The Young and the Restless spoilers for August 12 suggest that Cane will warn Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) latest plan.

Billy has accepted a position at Chancellor, but the real motivation is to try and figure out what Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is hiding about the company.

Billy is obsessed with some sort of secret he believes Jill has buried at Chancellor. Will Jack help Cane convince Billy that he’s traveling down a rabbit hole he should just avoid?
