Eric Braeden’s Social Media Post
Eric Braeden recently hopped on Instagram and uploaded a video where he was walking down the street. He noted, “This is a little colder than California. But you know, the people are very nice here, very polite.”
He goes on to say he’s in some southern city, and reiterated how polite the people in this “southern city” are. He went on to say that America needs to get back to that, and this is what the country is all about. Braeden’s IG caption read, “ATLANTA”.
The Significance
Interestingly enough, Beyond the Gates films in Atlanta, Georgia. Why is Braeden in this area of the country and not California, where The Young and the Restless films?
Even more insightful is the idea that BTG films about four months ahead of airing, so “if” the soap opera icon was shooting scenes for a crossover storyline, these would be broadcast in May … a major sweeps month!

Of course, neither the Y&R nor Beyond the Gates has confirmed any sort of appearance by Victor Newman/Eric Braeden, but fans of both soaps can’t help but speculate!
Right now, Victor is embroiled in massive drama as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) have taken over Newman Enterprises via that despicable AI software.
Still, it’s not hard to imagine Victor swinging in to either help The Duprees out with something or possibly put Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) in his place. Maybe he and Joey could form an alliance? Only time will tell.
