Cane and Lily are over but for years they have gone off again and on again. Plus they share a connection through their kids that will never go away. What are the chances that he waltzes back into town and tries to reclaim the remnants of his relationship with Lily?

It’s not unthinkable that he would return. He left to find his dad Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) who had absconded with Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) billion-dollar fortune. That whole mess is now resolved, so what’s keeping Cane from coming at home?

If Cane returns to his old stomping grounds he will be hard-pressed to keep his distance from Lily. He has been enchanted with her for eons. That doesn’t mean that he always treated her well though. Their last go-round couldn’t survive his one-nighter which resulted in a baby.

That wouldn’t be enough to prevent him from trying, however. They did eventually get past his indiscretion but then prison tore them apart all over again.

Both Cane and Lily were sad that their union ended, but that was a while ago, and old hurts have no doubt simmered down.
