Pluto TV Launches Soap Channel For B&B And Y&R Reruns

Pluto TVEver since SoapNet left the air, fans have asked for a soap channel to come back. Finally, Pluto TV has answered that request for CBS soap opera viewers.

Not Necessarily Classic Episodes

Although the episodes may not necessarily be classic episodes, they are older than the everyday episodes televised on screen. Pluto TV announced today that they are launching a channel dedicated to airing older episodes of “The Young And The Restless” and “The Bold And The Beautiful” and more. Newer episodes of both soaps will be available on-demand as well. “Y&R” episodes start with seasons 47 and 48 and contain 416 episodes starting with #11505 through #11921.

These episodes begin with the end of the Mal Young era and end with the beginning of the Anthony Morina and Josh Griffith era. The storyline currently being aired involves Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) being sentenced to prison for 12 years for the negligent vehicular homicide that resulted in the death of Hillary Curtis (Mishael Morgan). Fans of Gina Tognoni’s version of Phyllis Summers and Daniel Goddard as Cane Ashby will be thrilled to be able to watch these episodes again. Dina Abbott Mergeron (Marla Adams) Alzheimer’s storyline is included in these episodes as well.

The Bold And The Beautiful Line-Up

The Bold And The Beautiful episodes will begin with part of season 33. The Bold And The Beautiful’s episodes originally aired in September 2018 beginning with episode #7929. Courtney Hope will appear as Sally Spectra and Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks, General Hospital) as Thorne Forrester. Adain Bradley and Kiara Barnes will also appear as Xander Avant and Zoe Buckingham in these episodes. Fans of these actors will be pleased to see them once again. Pluto Soaps is on channel 146.

Pluto TV is available on several streaming services such as Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Playstation, Tivo, Xfinity, Roku as a downloadable app. Some smart tv like Samsung and Vizio and some others offer the app as well. Pluto TV also has a website where content can be streamed as well. An account is not necessary to watch content on Pluto TV.       Yes, I hope they do this for Days of our Lives and General Hospital as well. And if possible get any reruns of the soap no longer on the air. I would like to watch past episodes of GH again espically of Robin and Patrick on GH They were on of my favorite couples on the show.

      I have watch General Hospital from the beginning many good memories of them days I just hurry home from school to watch them with my mom and grandmother I would love to go back and watch the old shows from the beginning

      Depends on if Pluto TV is free in the Xfinity i have in my living area. My bill is high enough. What I would really like to have in another channel in my line up at a later
      time in the day to watch the soaps that were not shown because of " Breaking New" or the President is having another news conference. I used to have a separate channel to do this and I hate it that it went away.

      I wouldn’t pay extra for the pluto channel. – I can’t get my basic cable now!!

      I am in Canada, we have a couple of all news stations as well .

      They still interrupt my soaps for events – An Amber alert (missing child case) and weather disasters are understandable . 

      Worse is when it’s a provincial budget – on at 4 on when it will be covered on the 5 and 6 pm news !
