The Crossover Event Did Well In The Ratings

The Young and the Restless/Beyond the Gates crossover occurred during the week of June 8 to 12, where fans saw Y&R favorites, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), Devon Hamilton Winters (James Bryton), and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) enter the land of Fairmont Crest.

The group was attending Martin Richardson’s (Brandson Claybon) political fundraiser; however, a tornado blew through, causing chaos, disaster, and drama along the way.

Social media was buzzing with excitement from the crossover storyline, and now with the ratings in, it looks like the Y&R/BTG event was a success all around.

Ratings Breakdown

According to Soap Opera Network, Beyond the Gates attracted its second-largest viewership of the season during the crossover.

When it came to week-to-week viewership, the new CBS drama saw an increase of +162,000 (1.796 million versus 1.634 million). BTG also saw an increase of +248,000 when compared to the same week in 2025.

This was Beyond the Gates’ largest year-over-year increase to date, with 1.796 million viewers versus last year’s 1.548 million.

It also experienced its best overall viewership in 15 weeks since the week of February 23-27 of this year.

With that said, BTC attracted its largest viewership ever for the Thursday and Friday shows during the crossover.

On the Thursday, June 11 episode, the show averaged 1.83 million fans to watch, while the Friday, June 12 episode averaged 1.84 million.

Meanwhile, The Young and the Restless averaged over 3 million viewers for the 20th week in a row, starting the week of January 26-30 of this year, and saw an increase of 50,000 fans week to week, which drew 3.105 million versus 3.055 million.
