Young and the Restless Spoilers – What to Expect in Ghostbusters: Afterlife
It was back in April 2019 when it was revealed that Grace has joined the cast of “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.” The upcoming film is the latest installment of Jason Reitman’s iconic “Ghostbusters” franchise. However, the new movie is nothing like the all-female reboot that was released back in 2016.
Y&R Spoilers – Reitman’s Vision Comes True
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Reitman said, “Before I ever thought I could make a Ghostbusters film, the image of a 12-year-old girl carrying a proton pack popped into my head and just wouldn’t leave.” This is exactly what Grace looked like on the photo she recently shared on Instagram.
“Eventually, I knew who she was. I’m floored by the idea of what it would be like to find a proton pack in your grandparents’ basement. What would that discovery reveal about who you are and what adventures you’re about to go on?” he continued.
It’s been announced that Bill Murray (Dr. Peter Venkman), Dan Aykroyd (Dr. Raymond Stantz), Annie Potts (Janine Melnitz), Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore) and Sigourney Weaver (Dana Barrett) would reprise their characters. For those who are familiar with the original cast, they would notice that Rick Moranis (Louis Tully) and Harold Ramis (Dr. Egon Spengler) were not included on the list. The former is no longer in the entertainment industry while the latter died in 2014.
