We’ve got good news for Max Ehrich fans. There are new reports that indicate the former The Young and the Restless heartthrob will soon be starring in a new Lifetime series opposite actresses Lesley Ann Warren and Georgia Flood.
According to Deadline, Max will be starring in Lifetime’s straight-to-series drama American Princess. It will be produced and written by executives Jenji Kohan, Jamie Denbo and Tara Herrmann.
The series will tell the story of a woman named Amanda who is an Upper Eastside socialite. She runs away from her own dream wedding when she realizes that it’s not the life that she’s always wanted. When she finds herself in the middle of a Renaissance Fair, she experiences an unexpected awakening. At the Faire, she develops new friendships, rivalries and romances that will definitely open her eyes to a new beginning in her life.
Max will play Brett, a Manhattan lawyer and Amanda’s fiancé who she leaves behind. In addition to this new series, Max has been keeping busy with several different roles. Fans have been keeping up with him as Hunter May on CBS’ Under the Dome and Freddie Ridge in Hulu’s The Path.
Production on the 10-episode series, from A+E Studios and Global Road Entertainment, is slated to begin this summer. We can’t wait to tune in for this one!
