The Young And The Restless Alum Max Page Had COVID

The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates tease that Max Page, the actor who played the role of Reed Hellstrom, was infected with the COVID-19 virus. The actor has now fully recovered.

The actor’s mother updated his son’s followers on Instagram. She said, “It’s a school night for Max!” She shared that her son was hospitalized and underwent surgery. On September 15, Page was admitted to the hospital to get treatment for his sporadic fever. He needed to be in good condition before his leads and pacemaker were replaced.

For those who didn’t know, the young actor was born with a congenital heart defect. Because of his condition, he’s been in and out of the hospital for the most part of his young life. He went through a difficult recovery but managed to get home by September 23. Then on October 7, the young actor celebrated his 17th birthday.

His mom is extremely proud of Max and his brother Els. “Life gives you legit challenges and you handle them well… always focus forward, boys!,” she said.

Max caught the virus well before he was scheduled to return to school. Fortunately, his symptoms were mild. He quarantined himself and has fully recovered since then. Page’s mother added that the actor is “super excited to rejoin senior year.”

Fans may recall that Page joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Reed from 2009 to 2015. He also appeared in the popular 2013 Volkswagen Super Bowl commercial where he played the little Darth Vader.
