The Young And The Restless – Who’s Leaving Genoa City?

According to the Young and Restless rumors, Rory Gibson (Noah Newman) is one of the actors on the chopping block. Kelsey Wang (Allie Nguyen) is another actor that could receive her walking papers. They shouldn’t be a surprise since Y&R dropped them to recurring status. Susan Walters (Diane Jenkins) and Conner Floyd (Chance Chancellor) are two other names being tossed around. Diane is a focal point in the storyline right now, but once her story plays out, TPTB (the powers that be) could drop her to recurring status.

Chance and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) are on their way to a divorce. Without the connection to Abby, Chance’s storyline possibilities will be nonexistent.

Trevor St. John (Tucker McCall) came to Y&R with a high salary. And, boy, he was worth it. He brings the drama and drives the storyline. But what happens when everything comes out about Diane, and he attempts a hostile takeover of Newman Enterprises, Jabot, and Chancellor Winters? Many assume that he will leave Genoa City and the actor will be dropped to recurring status.

The insider said that Y&R wants to bring back legendary characters instead of introducing new ones. In fact, the leaker claims the show is in talks with Doug Davidson to return as Paul Williams.

The CBS leaker said Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) could be on the way out. Bold and the Beautiful is all about the Forresters and Logans right now, and there’s no room for bad girl Sheila Carter.
