The Young and The Restless Casting Leak: Is Danny Romalotti Headed Back To Y&R?

CBS The Young and the Restless casting spoilers tease that Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) may be back when the show returns to the air. It’s currently on hiatus but our inside source at CBS has revealed that fan faves from the past could be back when new episodes hit the air.

Danny has been seen in recent days with the showing of flashback episodes and fans have been very vocal about their desire to have the character back in Genoa City.

Will they get their wish? Anything is possible since the show will start production with a clean slate so to speak.

Danny was everyone’s heartthrob and seeing him again in encore epi’s has fans swooning all over again. His first marriage was to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). He rescued her after she became pregnant by her college professor. The marriage was annulled however when she unfortunately miscarried.

Following that the hunky singer went on tour, something that he would do throughout his time on the show. Eventually, Danny married Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) in Hawaii.

Danny was married to Christine when Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) became pregnant by him. Long story short, Danny found out he wasn’t the dad but loved the kid any way and remained a father figure to him.

In fact, he took the boy on tour (again!) after a kidney transplant and after Christine rejected him.

Danny has many friends and loved one’s in Genoa City so it makes sense that TPTB would find a place for him on the canvas.

Christine, Phyllis and Traci are all in town, and having him back could create a dramatic love quadrangle of epic proportions!

Danny was back in 2003, 2004, 2008, and 2012. Each time he entered the scene seamlessly and his comebacks brought excitement and heat to the show. It makes perfect sense that he would be tapped for a comeback.

We last saw Danny in 2013 when he came back to attend Katherine Chancellor’s (the late Jeanne Cooper) funeral. For all, we know he’s on tour somewhere and needs to come home for a bit of R&R?
