The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Christopher Cousins Debuts
Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) Parisian pal and trusted ally will make an appearance in Genoa City this week; Christopher Cousins will debut as psychiatrist Alan Laurent on Tuesday, April 30.
He will be sharing the screen with Davidson’s character, who is going through a tough time mentally, with three alters and counting as a result of dissociative identity disorder.
Cousins has a rich history in daytime television, having appeared on Another World, As the World Turns, One Life to Live, and General Hospital.
In his previous roles, he portrayed characters like Greg Houston on Another World, Colin Crowley on As The World Turns, and Cain Rogan on One Life to Live. In addition, he played Dr. Warren Kirk on General Hospital.
Y & R Spoilers – Cousins’ GH Role Prepared Him Perfectly For His New YR Role
His most recent role on GH was as Dr. Warren Kirk, a doctor helping Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) with his post-traumatic stress disorder.
Dr. Kirk advised Dante to trust the system and warned him about the consequences of not cooperating, and at first Dante seemed to be okay with the idea of long-term care.
Kirk gave him medication for nightmares and promised to follow up the next day, but later Dante rejected his medical advice, saying he needed to get back to his family. In addition, Dante didn’t trust Kirk and the character met a brutal end in the form of a recast.
After playing GH’s Dr. Kirk, Cousins is well-prepared to take on the role of Dr. Laurent and navigate the complex relationships with Ashley, Belle, and Ms. Abbott!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Colleen Zenk Is Back As Jordan
Colleen Zenk recently came back as Jordan when she kidnapped Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) and now she’s back again on Tuesday, April 30.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a history of holding people captive in his twisted torture chamber, like he did with Michael Scott (Nick Benedict).
The poor photographer was forced to endure months of imprisonment, surviving on rats in the remade bomb shelter beneath the ranch house.
Michael was finally freed by his lover, Victor’s first wife Julia Newman (Meg Bennett); might Jordan suffer the same fate at the hands of this ruthless captor?
It would certainly seem the jail cell he has Jordan in is the same one he had Michael in years ago, and Victor’s the only one left who knows about it!
