Y&R first aired Davidson as Ashley in 1984 and she has played the role off-and-on ever since. She is one of those actresses that is able to handle multiple projects at once. Not only did she join Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but also had some stints on Days of Our Lives while still connected to The Young and the Restless.

Next week, fans will finally get to see new episodes of the popular and long-running CBS soap opera. Its sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful has been back at work since late June. However, Y&R is a much bigger production and has one-hour episodes compared to B&B’s 30-minute time slots. Y&R also has a much larger cast and crew, which means they really had to make sure that safety protocols were safe and it was enough.

When COVID-19 caused production on all four soaps to shut down, Y&R aired as long as they could. Eventually, they ran out of new material, just like General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful. So, fans are thrilled that new episodes will be airing next week.
