The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Michael Mealor Says His Farewell
Mealor took to social media last night and wrote an emotional goodbye next to the photo of the Abbott family, two days after Jason Thompson (Billy) retweeted a Y&R scene asking if this is the end of Skyle forever, and Mealor made reference to that.
“In true Chanccomm fashion, Uncle Billy broke the news first…..my time as we know it on The Young and the Restless is coming to a close. The last three and a half years have been a truly humbling and life-changing experience,” Mealor wrote. “I wouldn’t have been here this long without the love and support y’all have shown me throughout every inch of this ride!
From appearing on national TV in my “birthday suit” to digging up graves for DNA fragments, every engagement and every heartbreak, whether you were #KOLA or #SKYLE, y’all were along for the rollercoaster. Thank you @youngandrestlesscbs, @cbstv and @sony for trusting me with this incredible character. Thank you for allowing me to be your Kyle Abbott. So much love to each and every one of you!”

Y&R Spoilers – Goodby Skyle?
Mealor made his The Young and the Restless debut in 2018 and became the soaps’ younger leading man almost immediately as Kyle married Summer to save Lola (Sasha Calle), then divorced Summer to marry Lola, and then realized he loved Summer, so he divorced Lola. However, he and Summer have not been able to get it together, but they might soon — and then leave Genoa City.
At the moment, Summer is in Italy for her new job and Kyle may soon learn Tara Locke is not all she seems to be. Will Kyle go join Summer in Europe as they ride off into the sunset together?
We also haven’t seen much of Lola of late, as there are more rumors that Sasha Calle is also leaving the soap after being cast as “Supergirl” in the DC series of comic-booked based movies. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how the young characters are written off.
