This week fans will have to say goodbye to Justin Gaston as he wraps up his temporary but very memorable run as Chance Chancellor. Gaston is married in real life to Chance’s reel life wife Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and it has been touching and sweet to see these two get married and go on there honeymoon on the show.

Y&R Spoilers – Donny Boaz Is Coming Back To Genoa City

And as one door closes, another open when Donny Boaz returns to the screen as the Chancellor family heir. Boaz’s first day back on screen is scheduled for December 18, 2020.

He had to go on a temp leave due to contracting coronavirus. The actor is well and ready to return and we are happy that he had a smooth recovery. The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted life around the globe and numerous daytime drama stars have contracted the virus including Boaz’s costar Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher).

While Boaz was gone Gaston stepped in as the character married the Naked Heiress and the two set off on an unexpected misadventure when they discovered that their tropical honeymoon accommodations were a bit sketchy.

The Young And The Restless spoilers – What Happens Next In Genoa City?

The happy couple were given an air mattress to sleep on and barely enough furniture to get comfortable. But they did decide on some key issues in regard to their future life together. For starters, the pair will live in Chancellor mansion. Kevin and Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) are moving out with their new son and daughter which means the Chancellors will have the run of the place.

The newlyweds were able to babysit for the Fishers which left them even more desirous of making a family of their own, with Chance expecting to be holding a little by next Christmas!
