The Young and the Restless comings and goings reveal that we will see some scenes that don’t include social distancing. This is because some episodes were filmed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down production. There is a lot that goes into making an episode ready for broadcast after it is filmed. Some of these scenes will feature Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford), and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

After a few months of no Y&R, I'm finding it hard to get back into the stories. I don't find the show to be as entertaining as it was pre-pandemic.

I'm disappointed the writers haven't used this downtime to come up with some new and interesting stories. The big news this week was supposed to be the plastic couple Kyle and Summer decide to move in together, wow, all those weeks of respite and that's the best they can come up with!!!! I hope the pay is good because these two actors can't be in this for the storyline opportunities to show their acting skills. Do they actually need a script because it the same old thing with these two over and over again. I'm getting to the point where I'd be happy if one of their characters died in an accident so this story could end. There is nothing remotely interesting about their relationship, it's isn't romantic or heartwarming, it's just two privileged brats going back and forth… Boring.

I was never a fan of Hillary. Now there's a twin sister. You should have let her stayed gone. I don't care about this story at all. I have watched this soap since day one. You need some better writers. Also some better characters.
