Dr. Hastings, Jr. is the son of Dr. Olivia Barber Winters (Tonya Lee Williams) and the late Nathan Hastings, Sr. (Adam Lazarre-White). And while Nathan was the last scene in Genoa City back in 2011, he has been returning back to the show periodically.

Fans can expect to see Brooks in his new role beginning on the July 3 episode. He will be the doctor who will be secretly treating Victor (Eric Braeden).
And if Brooks already looks familiar to you, it’s because he’s a rising television star. Even though this is his first experience on daytime television, Brooks Darnell has always appeared on several different television series and films. Some of them include Shadowhunters, The New Edition Story, and Total Recall among others.
So far The Young and the Restless producers have made no comments about the return of Dr. Nathan Hastings, Jr, but it’s without a doubt that fans can’t wait to see Brooks Darnell in the role. After all, he is pretty easy on the eyes! Fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
