The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that actress Elizabeth Leiner has been hired to play the recurring role of Tara Locke on the Genoa City, Wisconsin based show. It was previously reported that Rebekah Graf had been cast as Tara but a scheduling conflict led to the necessity of a recast.

Tara is the woman, and supposed baby mama, from Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) bawdy bachelor days in New York. Tara will debut on Monday, March 1.

In a stunning Friday, February 5 cliffhanger episode, wild card Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) came to Genoa City and told Kyle’s enemy Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that Kyle had an affair with a married woman named Tara Locke, and that they now have a secret love child together.

Sally was thrilled and amazed to hear the good (to her anyway) news. Kyle’s SO Summer Newman has just dug up serious dirt on her and now she has an ace up her sleeve if the blond she-devil gets too smarmy for her own good.

Kyle was told by Sally and Theo of his love child and before they could tell Summer he told her that he had an affair with a married woman.

It looks like that woman, Tara comes to Genoa City. Her husband is a sinister business mogul named Ashland Locke. Kyle talks about him like he is the devil incarnate, but has he never heard of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)?

So it looks like there is a stalemate for the time being at least, between Summer and Sally. The heat is now on Kyle and his past, and Summer will likely do anything to protect him, even if it means keeping quiet about the redhead. But does Summer know everything?
