The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is living her best life in the land of Genoa City.

Not only does she have an awesome job at Marchetti, but she’s also dabbling in a steamy romance with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)

With that said, no drama for a soap character sometimes means bad news in terms of storylines and exits, so is Sally staying on the Y&R or could she be leaving?

The Young And The Restless’s – Courtney Hope At The Center Of An Exit Rumor

On Sunday, January 26, Hope shared a screenshot of an exit rumor on her Instagram Stories from another social media account stating she was preparing to leave the soap. She would go on to upload a number of videos, offering her thoughts.

The screenshot Hope shared was from a Y&R ‘news’ IG handle, with a headline that stated, “Courtney Hope Says Goodbye to Y&R – A New Chapter Awaits for the Beloved Star!”

The actress added a caption to the post that noted, “This is not true, and it really is infuriating when people put out false news just to get a reaction out of the fans.

She went on to state, “I’m not leaving, I’m not taking a break, no such thing has been uttered. Deplorable clickbait.”

Y&R Spoilers’s – Courtney Hope Feels This Is All “Gross”

In Hope’s IG video uploads, Hope adds that this isn’t her first “go around” when it comes to false stories, and she’s developed a thick skin with it all.

Still, she also felt that this wasn’t necessarily about her, and she wanted to clear the air as she has an issue with others “preying on people’s emotions.”

Hope goes on to explain that the Y&R’s cast “… work really hard to make sure our fan base is valued and seen and heard.”

The actress states, “I have a problem when somebody takes that value system of us and uses it for their own self-satisfaction and their own gratification for clickbait, for boosting their own presence.”

She adds that, “It’s gross, and I feel a responsibility to my fans, to The Young and the Restless fans to make sure they have the correct information.”
