Fire Alarms And Mayhem
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) says, “This can’t be happening and the next thing you know, the fire alarms are sounding.” Phyllis and Nick are about to drag out a drunk Summer (Hunter King) as Sharon goes to look for a Mariah (Camryn Grimes), when Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) informs them all it was a false alarm!
Sharon disappears again and Phyllis tells Summer to go get a drink and tries to get her to promise not to make anyone cry. Nick informs her, he didn’t get a chance to tell Sharon and Phyllis tells him this is the universe trying to tell him to be grateful, admitting she is the one who pulled the alarm and would do it again.
A Missing Bride
Kyle (Michael Mealor) arrives at the party, where he is taunted by Mariah and Tessa about his suspicious arrival and him only coming with the intention of hooking up with Summer; which he denies of course.
Kyle says he is there for an actual date, so the women want to toast to the missing bride who turns out to be in an elevator with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), who stopped it, saying SHE is the emergency and this is ending NOW!
Phyllis Tries To Change Nick’s Mind
Phyllis continues to work on Nick, reminding him everyone has secrets. He wants to own up to his mistakes and not cover them up like his dad would do. She feels he can’t use his daddy issues to blow up both their lives as they made a pact. He is sure Sharon has changed and will be discrete when he reveals the truth.
Phyllis thinks Nick is delusional when it comes to Sharon and asks him about what this will do to Billy (Jason Thompson); Nick says Billy is not his problem. Phyllis tells him this will hit the media and ruin Dark Horse as his infidelity will destroy him right after his arrest; playing dirty she throws Faith and Christian into the mix, asking how many times Nick is willing to pull the rug out from under them.
She pleads with him to let this go. Summer sits back watching her parents and forces Kyle to watch them, saying that discussion isn’t about “nothing.” Phyllis says it was one mistake, but no one has to suffer for it. Nick says she has some valid points; he admits she is making some sense and tells her he will keep the past in the past. He is glad she talked him down and if he really wants this, he can really make this happen; but he is suspicious because he has the feeling Sharon had something she wanted to tell him too. Phyllis brushes it off, saying she is sure it’s prewedding jitters.
Nikki tells her to remember the feeling of being kept in the elevator because this is what her telling Nick will do to the rest of them – being locked away for everyone they know and love. They both remind her that Sharon has lied to Nick on numerous occasions and they would rather see her and Nick married for the rest of their lives than see the mother of his children in prison.
Summer Is Suspicious
Phyllis asks Summer and Kyle if they have seen Sharon, but Summer points out that maybe they snuck off and didn’t tell her since she wasn’t invited in the first place.
Summer doesn’t believe Phyllis wants to wish Sharon well and when her mother walks away she encourages Kyle to talk to Phyllis to see what is really going on. Kyle admits that it was hard on him the intervention with Billy as it reminds him about how Phyllis helped his dad, Jack (Peter Bergman). Their conversation is interrupted by a call and Phyllis runs off without explanation.
Victoria reminds Sharon that she is “it” for Nick; she is the only one sabotaging it and laying this on Nick would be a mistake for both of them. Sharon throws it back at both of them that none of them can truly forget JT (Thad Luckinbill) and if they did, they would be monsters; but maybe they already are!
Phyllis Meets With Rey
Phyllis arrives at the GCPD and thanks Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for calling. Summer thinks Phyllis ran off for one last booty call with Nick before tomorrow’s wedding, unfortunately she is talking so loud about the one night stand, Mariah over hears the conversation.
Mariah blasts her, thinking Summer wants her parents back together but Mariah questions Kyle. Rey uncuffs Billy, revealing there won’t be any charges for the fight he started at a bar. Both Billy and Phyllis thank him for talking the bar owner into not pressing charges and leaves them to talk.

Billy Hits Rock-Bottom
Phyllis tearfully tells Billy he has fallen and doesn’t know how to help him. Billy says, “It is so much worse than she knows!”
Nick finds Victoria and Nikki, who tell him they think Sharon has decided to call it a night. He is concerned that she left without telling him, and wants to call her to make sure she is okay. She is at Crimson when he calls but she declines the call.
Rey Visits Sharon
Rey knocks on the door and she lets him in, he is surprised she would head to work instead of going home after the craziness at the party. She makes his usual coffee and begins to share how her voice seems to get in the way these days with Nick. She is so frustrated about the new home as Rey comments how giving her marriage will be a huge change.
Phyllis wants answers, but Billy insists she doesn’t want to know. He says he is juggling 12 balls, except they are M80s and all are going to fall. She wants to know it all, so they can help him out. Back at the party,
Summer continues to reveal the story and Tessa joins the conversation, when Tessa demands Kyle to answer whether Summer was lying, he says, “They were on a break.” Mariah thinks its a joke and the wedding is happening as Kyle insists it was a one night thing, but Summer questions if it was more. Mariah is upset that Nick gave Summer hush money over this. Summer says this marriage is doomed even if he didn’t.
Rey is intrigued by Sharon’s excitement and hesitation at the same time. He’s unconvinced by her words, questioning whether “perfect” is actually a thing. He opens up a little bit about his marriage but reassures her that Nick is lucky to have her. Sharon offers him the apartment above the coffeehouse, but before he can answer Nick walks in and interrupts their conversation. Nick thinks its a great idea to have Rey move upstairs.
After Rey leaves, and they both agree it wasn’t a great night but that doesn’t mean they cannot salvage it. He turns off some of the lights, turns on the jukebox and the two of them enjoy alone time together.
Up at the Dive Bar, Summer feels Mariah will keep it quiet and passes on being Summer’s date to the event. Mariah struggles with all the new information and processes it with Tessa, asking if she should stop her mother’s wedding?
When the song ends, Nick asks Sharon if she is having second thoughts about their wedding and what she was going to say before the fire alarm went off. She knows he was going to say something too. He tells her there is something she needs to know before tomorrow.
They both lie, saying if the other was having second thoughts to say it now. But they say this is it for them and they will have their wonderful life together.
Billy’s Shocking Confession
Billy reveals all the money from the buy-in syndicate is gone and there is no way of getting it back, and it is $500,000. Phyllis learns this is worse than getting kneecapped. He didn’t borrow the money from a loan shark – He took it from Jabot!
