Lily (Christel Khalil) asks Michael (Christian Leblanc) if this is her last meal as a free woman, but Cane (Daniel Goddard) wants them to stay positive. Michael promises to do everything in his power to keep the sentence light but she much keep her answers brief.
Lily says she doesn’t need his pep talk as they can’t assume she is going to get a light sentence but he can give her a night she will remember for the next 20 years if she has to.
Devon (Bryton James) arrives at the GCAC, where Victoria (Amelia Heinle) learns Victor (Eric Braeden) gave him some good advice. She says they are all sorry for his loss but he feels that doesn’t include Lily and her husband who are only worried about themselves. She understands how they could have been scared to come forward and sees it from both sides;
Devon absolutely cannot see it and those who love Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will never let it go.
Sharon and Mariah demand to know what Tessa has been going through since she has been gone. She reveals Crystal is living in Canada, where she got a job, new life and identity. She explains that the phone call was fake, she had to act like that because she didn’t fully trust the people they were using to create a new life for Crystal with. She tries to change the subject but Sharon has more questions.
Rey finds Victoria at Newman Enterprises, apologizing for making her uncomfortable. She doesn’t buy it, saying he is on the clock and there to obtain information.
AMP in the post
Lily and Cane are enjoying a private dinner at the GCAC, where they are interrupted by Devon noticing their romantic and intimate time. Cane follows Devon to the bar, saying they are not out celebrating, but rather trying to spend possibly their last moments together. He asks Devon to join them, but declines.

Cane doesn’t want Devon to use this, saying Lily was partying but Devon says his statement is about how his wife and child are dead, nothing about Lily at all.
Sharon wants to know how Tessa left her sister alone and she knows Crystal is safe. As a protective mother, she wants to know how Tessa left Mariah hanging; the phone rings and Sharon informs them everything is fine as it was Tessa Porter.

After Victoria gets defensive, Rey says he job is to find who used JT’s credit card and who didn’t pay the bill. Rey reveals that he has a source who says it really wasn’t JT who did all these things but he wants to know if JT wasn’t the one who truly did all these things how is she feeling so safe working alone so late at night?
Sharon calls but Victoria avoids the call, and warning that they should keep their distance from dangerous Rey. Victoria pulls out her check book and offers to pay off the balance JT owes.
Devon finds Michael at the Dive Bar, who reminds him the only person who hasn’t asked him to go easy on his sister is Lily. He learns it was Lily who chose not to go through a long lengthy court battle. Devon says Hilary is the love of his life and tomorrow he will have the chance to tell the courts that and what she would have wanted for him. Its evident that Devon knows Hilary would have wanted him to have his family around him if anything had happened to her.
Tessa thanks Sharon for getting her sister out of the sex-trafficking ring and she hopes she can get her trust back. Sharon wants to talk more, but Mariah reminds Sharon that she supports her and Nick, so she expects the same courtesy. Mariah wants to go out for coffee with Tessa.
Rey leans in, telling Victoria that he is certain she knows more than she is saying or she wouldn’t be so eager for it all to go away. His instincts says she is a good person, but she is in way over her head. She insists she has no information for him and will have to solve this without her help. As he leaves, she takes a deep sigh as Rey makes a call, saying Victoria “bought it!”

Victoria listens to her message from Sharon, she goes through her purse and calls Nate (Brooke Donnell) terrified, begging him to rush over to her office.Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) are laughing over their parents’ dorky pictures from their date when Shauna (Camryn Hamm) walks into Crimson.
Cane and Lily watch a plane fly over, and they talk about if it was any flight, where would like they to go – reminiscing about Paris.Nate admits to Victoria he ran all the way over to her office. He says she made the right choice by calling and checks her over, as she worries she is having a heart attack.
Nate brings Victoria back to his and Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) place, where she drinks water and she begins telling him about her symptoms. He tells her it was a panic attack after she tells him about how it felt exactly the same as when JT was choking her. Nate hugs her, but she feels stupid for taking him back and bolts upstairs.
Charlie talks to Shauna about what is happening; she says they can help each other through it all if he let’s her. He hugs her, saying its not a bad idea, happy she is there.
Tessa understands why Sharon is so protective over Sharon, as they have that in common. Mariah reveals Sharon had a tough life and is great on picking up on when someone isn’t telling her the whole story. Mariah wants to know every detail about what happened in Canada.
Victoria freshens up and tells Nate she will give him a check in the morning and expects this to be patient/doctor confidential. He pleads with her to see a therapist, she says it isn’t necessary and apologizes for burdening him with her problems and it won’t happen again. She leaves the apartment.
Tessa reveals things the people in Canada wanted $20,000 and now she had to come back to Genoa City to get it. If she doesn’t come up with the money they will come after her, and that is why she was so freaked out when that Rey guy grabbed her. Tessa says they will figure things out, but not tonight.
Devon returns home and Shauna comes down the stairs, asking if she can talk to him first. She tells him she got back together with Charlie. He is fine with it, as long as they are together in public. She promises they didn’t talk about what they were going to say at the hearing, she doesn’t want to let Hilary down. He tells her she doesn’t have to say anything, but the only words that matter are Hilary’s and he won’t let her be steamrolled by his family. She wonders what he is going to say and how much blame he is going to lay on Charlie’s mom?
On the rooftop, Lily and Cane dance lovingly in each others arms, as she admits she feels like she is dancing on clouds, still terrified about court tomorrow. He promises they will come out on the other side stronger as Devon climbs the empty stairs of his condo alone.
