The Young and the Restless Day Ahead Spoilers for Friday, November 2: JT’s Body Missing – Victoria Panics, Abuser Still Alive?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with the three women digging on Chancellor Park, wondering where Sharon (Sharon Case) is.

Cover-up Crew Digs At Chancellor Park

Suddenly, they hear noises and Sharon scares the hell out of them when she shows up with a hockey mask, saying she was delayed because she was dealing with all the problems Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) caused for being such a slut. She apologizes to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heninle) for being late, but Phyllis gives her a shovel, telling her to dig. Nick (Joshua Morrow) returns to Dark Horse in a somber mood, recalling how Sharon told him they are over and he needs to accept that.

Summer (Hunter King) arrives at Crimson, where Kyle (Michael Mealor) doesn’t seem pleased to see her. Summer tells him he has two choices regarding work since Phyllis is his new boss; he can either start sucking up to Summer or he can spend the rest of his life in the back of a truck making sandwiches. She gives it two weeks before Lola (Sasha Calle) dumps him, since nothing kills romance like a hairnet. Kyle chooses to walk away from Summer.

Phyllis’ Shocking Announcement

Phyllis and Sharon continue to bicker. Victoria asks them to use their inside voices as Nikki suggests they talk about it anywhere but there. Sharon gets fed up, feeling Phyllis should leave town and take JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) body with her. She says no one cares if Phyllis would leave Genoa City, she can pimp out Fenomores from anywhere and asks Phyllis one thing that is keeping her in town. Phyllis shocks everyone with the news that she was elected as CEO of Jabot Cosmetics.

Nikki tells her it is Halloween, not April Fool’s Day; feeling she is delusional, but Victoria informs them she is telling the truth. Billy (Jason Thompson) calls Victoria, saying he is home with the kids and she promises she’ll be home in the morning to get the kids. They shine a light into the ground but they don’t find JT anywhere.

JT’s Body is GONE

Victoria panics as they try to find a logical explanation, now wondering if JT is still alive. Good news is they don’t have to explain a corpse to anyone but the bad news is they have no idea where JT is or if there is a corpse at all; they quickly try to put the dirt back.

Kyle sits with Billy for breakfast at the Abbott house; both want to be COO but Kyle feels the ship has sailed for Billy when he slept with Summer. They agree that Phyllis is one smart woman but has one glaring weakness – her hatred for Billy! Meanwhile, Phyllis arrives at Jabot’s CEO office where Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) comes to see her. Phyllis promises that Fenmores will be the critical jewel in Jabot’s crown; but she will be fighting an internal war as an outsider running the family and the only way to win is to kick enough ass to silent the voices. Phyllis is asking Lauren to do a lot more than just watch.

Sharon Thinks JT Is Alive

Sharon, Nikki and Victoria sit at the coffee house as they explore all the scenarios. Sharon thinks if JT is alive, he needs to remain “dead” because it’s to his advantage to stay that way. Victoria fears he may have a new life, but he may want to dedicate all that on getting revenge on them. Victoria thinks maybe JT is dead and the blackmailer moved his body before the sculpture was installed.

Victoria insists there are only two ways to look at this, either JT is dead or he isn’t; but before they can talk any more, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) walks in a Sharon hushes them. He asks if he is interfering in another charity meeting and says he just joined the GCPD activity league and thinks their project would be a great way to get involved in the community, asking how he can help their cause.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) comes to the office, finding Nick in a miserable mood. He admits he still loves Sharon, but she is the reason for his foul mood. She reminds him that Nick did cheat with Phyllis of all people and Nick did change a lot when he started this business. He doesn’t understand why she can’t stand by him when he stood by Sharon through so many life changing moments. Abby, again, reminds him about sleeping with her arch-nemesis and tells him to “back off” of Sharon!

Phyllis Celebrates Her Ne Position

Summer congratulates Phyllis and her gift is a designer to redo her office. Phyllis declines the offer but Lauren says the place needs a facelift, they begin to box up awards and photos when Kyle and Billy walk in for the meeting Phyllis called.

Phyllis tells Billy she is not scrapping Jaboutiques, in fact she is expanding them. She loves their enthusiasm as they both want to be COO, but Phyllis informs them she has already chosen a COO and the person is in the room with them – Lauren Fenmore Baldwin, who is thrilled and honored, promising not to let Phyllis down.

Sharon tells Rey this is not the right project for him, he wants to know what their charity really is. When they tell him different charities he wants to know which one is it; Nikki says that with full disclosure, he doesn’t fit the “women helping women” profile. She thinks it is wonderful that he wants to help and will send him the brochure on “New Hope” project. Sharon distracts him by asking him to walk her to her car.

Rey Grows More Suspicious

Once they leave, Nikki hopes they covered their blunder; Victoria thinks Sharon did but she fears Rey is only one if the many things they will have to deal with.

Phyllis doesn’t leave Billy and Kyle in suspense regarding their roles at Jabot. Kyle will continue his current role at the same level. She wants Billy to stay as they need his talents and resume his old job at Marketing. He agrees, even though he thought she was going to fire him. Lauren returns with Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter), their new lead chemist. Kyle and Billy worry about the Abbott family being marginalized in their own family company with all the girl power and none of them being family. Lauren and Phyllis thoroughly enjoy berating Billy, by making him take the box and painting from the office, saving on courier and telling him to close the door.

Abby tells Nick to respect Sharon enough to give her space. She doesn’t want him to give up on the love of his life, simply hold on to the dream and hope that one day she wants the same thing. Nick shares the only reason he was willing to cross lines was for Sharon and the kids. He only wanted a life free of their dad, Victor (Eric Braeden); after everything he did, that one night with Phyllis is going to be the deal breaker.

Phyllis, Lauren and Kerry discuss bringing back products that were discontinued and since they don’t have time for launch, Phyllis wants to fill the shelves with products from other companies. Lauren thinks it is brilliant as this takes a ton of pressure off of Kerry and her team.

Rey tells Sharon there might be some female officers interested in their clothing drive; he apologizes for missing her at the Halloween party. She explains that she told Nick it was finally over and he didn’t take it well. She feels they changed too much as Rey says you can’t force a positive attitude on anybody, but Sharon feels broken. Rey tells her if she needs any support, she knows where to find him, which makes her take her purse and rush off.

Sharon And Rey Discuss His Wife

Sharon returns after taking some victim interviews. She tells Rey that talking about Nick was not “code” for her being single. He just wants them to be open and honest with each other. Sharon asks Rey about his wife and he admits they have been talking and making slight progress.

At GCAC, Billy finds it messed up that him and Kyle are even working together; Billy warns him that they cannot play dirty because they cannot taint the Abbott name in anyway, they can only outsmart Phyllis.

Distraught Victoria Searches Park For Clues

Victoria and Nikki return to Chancellor Park, where Victoria needs to find some sort of clue. Nikki wants them to get out of there but Victoria felt that when JT’s body was dead and buried, there was a sense of security but now that they know he isn’t, it’s scary to her. Nikki holds her daughter to reassure her.
