The Young and the Restless Day Ahead Spoilers for Friday, October 5: Billy Freaks And Fists Fly – Shick Over – Hot Summer Hook-up

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 5, 2018 begin with Sharon (Sharon Case) and Billy (Jason Thompson) stopping Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) from leaving the church, saying everyone would like her to deny it.

Sharon says they are both lying and thought they’d get away with it; but they know better now.

Billy And Sharon Cause A Scene In The Church

Noah (Robert Adamson) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) try to get them to deal with it in private, but Billy and Sharon aren’t having it. Phyllis says it happened when they were broken up; which was only for two days, Sharon informs him that they were only apart for one day. Billy applauds Sharon, appreciates it, announcing that he just asked Phyllis to marry him and she said, “yes” moments before Sharon and it looks like this isn’t the only wedding that isn’t going to happen. Nick (Joshua Morrow) begs Sharon not to listen to Billy, but she slaps him, demanding he doesn’t touch her.

Billy Freaks And Fists Fly

Billy attempts to hit Nick too, but Jack (Peter Bergman) stops him as Nick says Sharon is the only one he is leaving with. Billy knows it’s ironic, considering how him and Phyllis ended up together, but he wants to know if it was a one-night thing or ongoing; Sharon also wants to know. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) tries to defend Billy, but he demands answers. Phyllis stands up and admits it was one night!

Once, again Billy tries to assault Nick and the minister orders them all the leave. Victor (Eric Braeden) looks all-knowing at Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) who can only shake her head.

Victoria apologizes to the minister, who excuses himself as they have half-hour before the next wedding. He only has sympathy for his grandchildren, but he admits he knew this wedding wouldn’t take place. They know Sharon halted the proceedings, but the fault lies with Nicholas; Nikki reminds him the blame also rests with Phyllis. Victor leaves as Victoria looks at the crushed flowers and broken promises.

GC Is Reeling After Wild Almost Wedding

Abby (Melissa Ordway) sits at Crimson, talking with Arturo (Jason Canela) about how awful it was watching Nick’s life blow up. Abby understands why Sharon and Billy lost it, especially Sharon. Arturo feels he gave Nick too much credit and thought he was a nicer guy. She doesn’t understand why guys do this; but he encourages her not to be so tough on her brother.

She says even if Sharon gives him a chance to hear him out, there are some mistakes you simply can’t take back.

Sharon Kicks Nick Out

Sharon orders Nick to get out of her house. Mariah tells her, she can’t run away from this as Noah says they need to deal with this now. He turns to Nick and lets him know how disappointed he is in him, and whatever he is going to say, isn’t going to cut it. He also tells Sharon she could have held it differently, especially in front of the kids.

Mariah tells her to pull it together before Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Christian come home; Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has the kids and Mariah will bring them home when everything is clear.

Jack attempts to get Billy to listen to Phyllis, but Billy asks if he was interested in having a conversation with her when she cheated on him? Jack leaves without saying a word. He confronts her about keeping secrets and how ballsy that was considering how angry she was over him and Summer (Hunter King) having a secret. She admits that was a terrible mistake and wanted to pretend it never happened.

Billy Devastated By Phyllis’ Betrayal

Billy feels she made a fool out of him; especially after he said he didn’t deserve him, because if she felt the same way about him; she would have told him. She uses his addiction as an excuse for not telling him; but he feels that when he hit bottom he knew he would be okay, knowing he would have at least still had her. She swears he still has her. She hugs him, he says, “You’re usually smarter than this!” and “How could you not see this?”

He tells her their relationship is dead and they are done; ordering her out of his house and life!!

He takes the liberty of packing her things and the experience of having her thrown out, like she did to him. She pleads with him and suggests she call Nick as he is looking for a roommate. She vows to fight for them. He opens the door and throws her stuff out the door, slamming the door in her face.

Victoria admits she didn’t know about Billy’s proposal as Nikki feels there was an upside to all this as know Sharon and Phyllis turned on each other out of spite and will now want to keep control of their lives as much as possible now. They both wonder if Nick will be able to convince Sharon to forgive him.

Mariah And Noah Bond

Mariah is more upset than she thought she would be. Noah reveals that his parents are great at imploding and his dad should know he can’t keep a secret hidden, as its always great at coming out. Mariah blurts out that she told Sharon the truth, revealing that Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer told her. Noah says he would have done the same thing; she’s relieved he won’t hold that against her but feels he has an issue with her relationship.

Nick apologizes, saying his life with Sharon and the kids means everything. She waits for the excuses and tells him not to lay the blame on her at all. He says he was hurting when he found her engagement ring and he found a hurting Phyllis. She says when you’re hurting you find a friend, or drink at a bar, or work out at a gym.

She feels this is all about banked up lust. He swears he isn’t carrying a torch for Phyllis. She wonders if he is hurting her on purpose or is it truly an accident. He wasn’t thinking, it was stupid and wants to know what he can do to fix it.

She wants to know how he could do it without thinking about her. She wants to know all the details, feeling him kissing her makes it worse. She struggles with what is wrong with them, lies, secrets and just doing it over and over, hurting each other. They need to accept there won’t be a next time.

Jack comes down the stairs, knowing Billy kicked Phyllis out. Billy feels he is getting what he deserves. Jack suggests he should think of what his kids deserve, when he decides what happens next. Billy says he will go to rehab as planned; but Jack is skeptical. Billy needs to get out of the house and clear his head.

Mariah didn’t know how to tell Noah about her and Tessa and didn’t even know if they even had a relationship for a long time. Noah reveals he is over her but worries that Tessa will do the same thing to Mariah. He only wishes his sister the best. Mariah gets a text about Faith and they leave.

Abby continues to vent about her family, wanting just one of her loved ones to get their “happily ever after.” He is used to the drama by now, admitting he never liked boring. She appreciates that he is a great listener. He says they have somewhere else to be and isn’t getting out of his suit, saying they are still going out. She is intrigued.

Nick Pleads With Sharon

Nick feels if they start over, they can fix this. Sharon is adamant she is done. She hates this new person he has become. Nick says everything he has done is to make her happy.

She throws all his actions in his face, and she has to take his word simply because he says so. He promises to do whatever she says but she doesn’t think he can; he doesn’t agree. She admits she still loves him, but she can’t be with him because all she sees is Phyllis and she won’t put herself through that again.

Summer is at the GCAC bar where Billy asked her to meet him.

Meanwhile, Mariah brings Faith home as Tessa watches Christian. Sharon apologizes for her behavior as Nick comes down the stairs with his bags. Phyllis is curled up on her hotel room bed, drinking alcohol.

Summer is sorry that his personal business was put on display like that. Billy is just happy to know the truth. She is surprised he reached out to her as he reveals he ended things with her mother. Billy tells Summer she was right that Phyllis was not the right woman for her and Summer knew.

He couldn’t give into temptation then, he puts his hand on her thigh as he says he is free to do as he pleases and suggests going back to her place; but it’s her call.

Nick and Sharon assure Faith things will be okay. She shouts at her parents and their lies and ruining it every time. Noah runs after her. He says he isn’t giving up on them as he leaves to go pick up Christian. Mariah comforts her mom.

Summer Seduces Heartbroken Billy

Phyllis drinks bottle after bottle, as Billy and Summer get busy in her bedroom; a look of rage on his face. Phyllis frantically cries while she looks at Billy’s number on the phone.
