The Young and the Restless Day Ahead Spoilers for Monday, December 3: Fen Returns, Fire At Newman Ranch!

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday December 3 begins with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) enjoying breakfast at GCAC, where she shares how much she is enjoying working with the women in charge at Jabot. She informs him about the party Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) is hosting that night, but realizes he is distracted by a guy who looks like Fenmore (Zach Tinker); it turns out Michael is right. Devon (Bryton James) comes down to see Shauna (Camryn Hamm) in the living room; she is packed and ready to leave, but he begs her not to go, feeling it’s wrong.

Mia talks to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) about the party, as he helps her prepare for the evening to make a good impression on all the elite of Genoa City; but Rey worries she is about to go into battle. Mia reminds him she is bringing the most powerful and cut throat ladies into their home and if they say good things about her and the business; than she wins. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) find Sharon (Sharon Case) at Crimson, believing they are in the clear when it comes to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).

Rey worries about all the pressure Mia is putting on herself; she has the talent and if people don’t show up she needs to realize that it’s going to take a while for them to get to know her. He is being supportive but it may take time for it to work all out. Lola (Sasha Calle) brings the food as Mia instantly orders her around. Sharon excuses herself, running into Rey, asking him if her being invited to the party was his idea or some sort of trap?

Rey tells Sharon she doesn’t have to go and its for women only; she says she doesn’t think she can make it, but thanks for the heads up. Phyllis and Victoria join Sharon, revealing they were invited to the party; Phyllis thinks they should all go to make good with Rey’s wife. Sharon says she isn’t going but Victoria understands how real wife dislikes work wife. Victoria agrees that it is a good plan that they all be charming, especially since none of them are safe until JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) body is found.

Michael and Lauren sit with Fen, as Michael says he can help him with law school. Fen reveals he brought everything home and is moving back to Genoa City; quitting law school to become a musician. Mia chastises Lola for eating some of the food but Lola takes it in stride, complimenting her on her dress as her first guests arrive. Mia meets Victoria, saying she probably knows more about Victoria than she knows about herself, but she gives Sharon a chilly greeting.

Shauna feels going is the right thing to do, but she will miss him. He thinks this is her home and she can stay. She loves it there and without him, she would not know this life existed but being there means being without her family and going home for Thanksgiving made her miss them. Devon reminds her of the promise he made to Hilary and he wants to honor that. Shauna goes to the door, where Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) arrive; Devon isn’t pleased.

Fen knew his parents wouldn’t be pleased with his decision, promising he is clean but doesn’t have the same passion his father does for law. His heart is in music ever since he met this girl who places music at a bar on campus. He admits he broke up with the girl but is still in love with singing; revealing he has come up with a plan and it starts with moving back in with them.

Esther (Kate Linder) wants Mia to do a makeover, but brushes her off to talk to Victoria and Phyllis; who bicker over Jabot and Brash & Sassy products. Mia tells Sharon she didn’t think she would actually show up, feeling that hair and makeup wasn’t her thing. She wants the people she works with to feel bold and unique; no one in the world like her. She challenges Sharon to a new look, but she declines. Abby (Melissa Ordway) walks in, wearing the exact same dress Mia is wearing; laughing that Abby has great taste. Abby mocks her, saying, “it’s smart to get it for a steal, as long as you can live knowing it is a knock-off!”

Fen doesn’t think his plan is as crazy as they think; he has sent a demo to HWG and if they don’t like it, he will keep making demos until they sign him. Lauren says they need a few moments to process, reminding them how he used to be with Danny Romalotti when she was his age. She wants them to go home and talk about in the morning; Fen tells them not to waste their breath and try to change his mind as he knows what he wants.

Charlie tells Shauna he is saving up to go to Colorado as Shauna says Cane isn’t the reason she is leaving as she does miss her family and Devon really is a wreck. She doesn’t want to be in the way and she can’t help him either. Devon listens to them, confronting Cane about how he is ripping the family apart.

Victoria reminds Abby that she has had worse fashion faux pas, at least this one involves clothing. She reminds me that the Naked Heiress campaign was against animal cruelty. She says Mia is Arturo’s (Jason Canela) sister in law and she isn’t going to be intimidated. Victoria doesn’t think she can be intimidated as Abby reveals Mia is making it very obvious how she was there before Abby was; and the only thing she has been doing is pitting the Rosales brothers against each other and Abby isn’t going to play the game.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) arrives as Mia says she really wants to get a picture of them all together, complaining about the paint and says she will have to talk to the old landlady about it. Nikki brings up how Rey is investigating JT’s death, wondering if there are any breaks in the case.

Cane apologizes to Charlie, who feels that it is what it is. He wants to know if things don’t work out with Shauna and her parents if she can move in with them; Cane feels that is inappropriate but Charlie thinks it is unfair that he has no say in any of this. Both wish Lily (Christel Khalil) was there for her take on it; both agreeing it sucks to miss the woman you love.

Esther loves her makeover as Mia jokes that Esther can have her husband since he is always working. Mia tells Abby she has some great aging serums that she could use; Abby tells her to try them on herself first and then give her a holler. Abby sits with Lola while the “Murder Club” talk about Mia not knowing anything about Rey’s work; Sharon wonders for how long. Mia wanders over as Abby and Lola talk about her food and how it is better than sex; Mia says then she is doing it wrong and better talk to Arturo.

Lauren walks in, welcomed by Phyllis and Mia, who shares how much she loved the photo shoot with them. She wants to put a few irons in the fire, suggesting with their powers combined like the wonder women of Jabot. Phyllis and Lauren say they will talk about it, to see if it is the right fit. She feels Rey wouldn’t even notice if she took the job; as Sharon defends that he is devoted to the community, but Mia says he made that devotion an obsession. Mia tells Sharon it is none of her business, but Sharon tells her it is infuriating that she complains about her saint of a husband who is trying to make the world a better place!

Shauna goes to get Charlie from her room as Cane says he is doing what is best for Shauna and Devon right now, as this is the responsible thing. Cane reminds him about the drugs they found in the couch, as this was supposed to be a safe place for Shauna and Hilary would have never approved of that. He knows Devon rescued her and nurtured her but Devon has to let her go. Devon tears up, saying if she is gone, that means another piece of Hilary is gone; Lily took Hilary away from him and now Cane is trying to erase her from his memory.

The women stand around as Sharon and Mia argue over Rey. Sharon doesn’t understand their marriage at all, saying there is a lot more to marriage than just passion. Mia suggests she wait for Rey as there is plenty for them to talk. Sharon retreats from the party as Mia puts on a brave face and Sharon finds Rey at the coffee house. He was surprised she went in the first place, noticing she was upset and wants to know what happened.

Shauna wants a moment alone with Devon. He tells her this is always her home and will be welcome back at any time. She can call him day or night, any problems and he will be on his jet immediately. She says he is her worst nightmare because he taught her to be open and honest, unable to hide her feelings. He apologizes for things not being the best around. She says he did live up to his promise to Hilary, giving her love and a home and a family when she really needed one. It might not be her place to say but he needs to lean on his family right now and not shut them out. He wonders when this teenager turned into a wise old soul, saying they will be all right. She says Hilary is looking down on them, knowing she is okay and wants him to be too.

Sharon doesn’t want to tell Rey, saying she tried with Mia and they will never be friends. He appreciates her making the effort, but its simply too complicated. He is trying to make his marriage work, although he doesn’t know if he can get past what she did or forgive her. He reveals that things, in that way, are not okay like Mia said because he doesn’t know if he keeps picturing Mia with his brother, or if he pictures himself with someone else.

Mia is frustrated that everyone is leaving early as Lola tells her it was a good night and almost everyone had a good time. Mia forgot to hand out her business cards, rushing to the door to give them. She offers to walk them downstairs, where Rey is talking to Sharon where he says he is fighting his feelings, but he thinks he is losing; he takes a step closer to Sharon, as he says he is fighting with everyone but her. Mia walks in, saying the party was a big success and she feels like celebrating without people around, dragging Rey with her. Victoria and Nikki feel it was a colossal waste of time; Nikki gets a call from the ranch and the stables are on fire.
