The Young and the Restless Day Ahead Spoilers for Monday, November 12: Mariah Catches Tessa – Rey’s Wife Mia Arrives

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with Sharon (Sharon Case) greeting Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) at work, but he treats her coldly, saying he doesn’t need her assistance today. Nick (Joshua Morrow) walks in and just as Sharon is laying it into him, Rey says Nick is there to see him.

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) tells Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that with her being there she finally feels like she has a home. Mariah says she will make it her mission to have everything unpacked and hung by the time Tessa gets home.

Kyle’s Interesting Discovery

At Jabot, Kyle (Michael Mealor) questions Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about how they are going to cover this event when they don’t have money. He offers to help with promotional stuff, and she finally admits they have the funds. He realizes her partner is Nick, but she reminds him that it is good business.

Meanwhile at GCPD, Rey interrogates Nick about the last time he saw JT (Thad Luckinbill) and his plan to impersonate JT, suggesting a guy savvy enough to pull off that con might have wanted to make sure JT disappeared. Nick denies killing JT and feels him and Rey are done! Nick confronts Sharon, warning her that if Rey keeps coming after him or his family, they are going to have a problem.

Mariah Settles In To Her New Home With Tessa

Mariah returns to their little apartment and decides to tackle the overflowing closet; dropping the bag that had the money in it on the floor, she opens it and begins putting clothes in it. Sharon is upset and tells Rey that Nick thinks she sicced him on Nick. Rey wonders why Sharon is so upset. She turns the table on him and he tells her that he doesn’t want things to be like this so she tells him to fix this and not shut her out. He grabs her face and kisses her.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is brought in next as per Rey’s request and Sharon leaves. Phyllis calls Victoria (Amelia Heinle) saying Nick was just questioned. Vicky tells her that Nikki is there right now and she is going in later. Victoria tells Phyllis to relax and clearly Rey is on the wrong track, she hangs up but is clearly worried.

Rey Questions Nikki And Victoria

Rey wants to reach Victor (Eric Braeden), but is told he is in Singapore on business. He finds it odd how calm Nikki is, but tells him if he is implying Victor is a killer he is dead wrong. Nikki informs Sharon that he only asked her about Victor and is glad she decided to stick to her job.

Sharon returns to the room with Rey, he says he can’t hide the way he is feeling knowing how wrong it is; Sharon feels the same way and they both agree to make a real decision at his place tonight. He leaves it up to her whether she shows or not.

Tessa Freaks Over Mariah Throwing Out Sofa

Tessa returns with some groceries and the place looks great; but once Mariah reveals she got them a new sofa bed and pitched the old one into the dumpster, Tessa is furious, telling Mariah she had no right throwing out her belongings and storms out of the apartment, leaving Mariah confused.

Kyle finds a somber Mariah at GCAC, she admits she doesn’t know how to be in a real relationship; her and Tessa have been living together for less than 24-hours and when Tessa found out she stormed out. Kyle reveals she was trying to do something nice but sometimes a gift can make the other person feel like a charity case. Kyle explains his situation with Lola and she is similar to Tessa, as neither of them come from money. Mariah kisses him on the forehead, saying he isn’t an idiot.

Rey Puts Pressure On Victoria

Victoria arrives at the precinct where Rey would like to hear about the last time she saw JT. She tells him that she was able to get JT upstairs without the ladies seeing him, it was there he admitted to what he did to her father; she gave him money and he was gone.

Rey reveals that the watch was in Chancellor Park after he was at Victoria’s house, but that is all he can tell her other than they are certain JT is dead. He has to play this one by the book and thanks her for coming in. Rey calls someone, saying Victoria just left and she did ask about the watch and the DNA but didn’t act the way people usually react. He’s positive Victoria knew there was no body to be found.

Kyle enjoys time with Lola (Sasha Calle) as she suggests they should get Mariah and Tessa a house warming gift. He’s confident word of mouth will spread and her business will happen. They both want to talk about the other’s day. There is one thing he can’t fix on his own and needs Loila’s help.

Nick Thinks Victor Killed JT

Nick and Nikki meet at Victoria’s office where they all discuss their visit with Rey. Nick isn’t so sure that Victor isn’t behind JT being murdered, but Nikki wants him to trust her. Nick feels that JT was determined to pin his death on a Newman, which means no matter what, they have to unite and protect themselves. Rey rushes to the door as his buzzer sounds. He asks who it is, with no response but it is his estranged wife, Mia (Noemi Gonzalez).

Mariah comes home and finds a note from Tessa apologizing and offering drinks later. Lola tells Kyle fancy things are not usually her thing but she will go with him as he promises this will “almost” be fun. Nick visits Phyllis, revealing everything Rey is up to with his family, but he doesn’t want to talk about him any more. She suggests Dark Horse could cosponsoring the Jaboutique launch party, and honestly she needs his money. He is in, admitting he raised the rents to stick it to Billy (Jason Thompson) because that is what Jack (Peter Bergman) wanted; he also agrees to her date to the function.

Rey’s Wife Mia Arrives

Mia confronts Rey, saying she quit her job feeling they are husband and wife and she is moving to Genoa City. She knows what she wants and that is to be with him. She goes to freshen up when Sharon arrives at the door, Rey tells her that he can’t do this, but before he can explain, Mia returns, not realizing they have company. Sharon looks angry.

Phyllis gives Nick a drink, saying them teaming up and in an instant they are a power couple, a force to be reckoned with. Nick wonders if she wants them to be a couple; she admits she isn’t opposed to it and he finds that sexy. He closes the blinds, saying he likes the idea and if they are going to do it, people need to know they are going to live their lives the way they want.

Sharon And Mia’s Awkward Meeting

Rey introduces his wife, Mia to Sharon, his landlord. Sharon apologizes for interrupting and gets out of their way. Mia comments on her dress, as Sharon says she was on her way to a date. Mia smiles telling Rey he has really made himself at home in Genoa City, as lonely Sharon returns to the coffeehouse.

Nikki talks about Rey and Victor meeting, more concerned that he hasn’t talked to Sharon and Phyllis yet; also worried that haven’t heard from their blackmailer yet.

Mariah Busts Tessa With Her Cash

Mariah walks to the garbage at the back of the building and finds Tessa putting thousands of dollars of money in a bag, she hides as she watches.
