Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) calls her a wench, feeling Sharon (Sharon Case) stood him up. Victor (Eric Braeden) wonders why she would stand him up after all they have been through; both Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are terrified but pretend not to know what goes through Sharon’s mind.
Sharon Is Missing
Nick questions Mariah, who says her car and Sharon are gone. Mariah and Jack both try to calm Nick down, suggesting he gives Sharon some more time; he hopes they are both right and he tells everyone it will be a few more minutes. Nick demands to know what Sharon’s state of mind, but when she says Sharon was calm and looking forward to the wedding he wants to know why she isn’t there?
Phyllis and Summer (Bayley Corman) rush out to Nick’s side, but quickly both her parents want to know if her or Kyle (Michael Mealor) said anything to Sharon. Summer assures them that isn’t the case. Nick looks for some insight from Phyllis and she admits that if Sharon decided to bail it must be something huge but suggests he gives it some more time. Phyllis goes back inside the church and spots Nikki and Victoria.
Noah Newman Returns
The church doors open, and Nick is happy to see Noah (Robert Adamson), who was worried he missed the wedding. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) runs into Noah’s arms, thrilled to see him. Jack reveals he was the one who got Noah there and is giving up his best man duties to Noah. Noah wants to know where Sharon is.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) vents to Arturo (Jason Canela) about Sharon’s disappearing act and how many times she has hurt him. Mariah feels this is all her fault; Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) reassures her that she was doing the right thing. She doesn’t know what to do, or what to say to everyone. Tessa says until they know anything, there is no point in over worrying. Mariah is happy to see her brother, but he doesn’t know she is dating Tessa and feels she cannot deal with that today. Victor feels its a pity that Noah only came to town for a wedding that isn’t going to happen, they all know that; but the question is why Sharon stood him up?
Noah finally gets a chance to see his grandparents; Victor respects his decision of joining Dark Horse, but the door is always open at Newman. Meanwhile, Jack talks to the minister about canceling his later engagement as the bride isn’t there yet. Billy (Jason Thompson) says he handled that like a pro, also wondering why Sharon isn’t there yet.

Wedding Guests Grow Impatient
Phyllis asks Nikki and Victoria if there is any word from the run-away bride. They knew this was too much for her. Phyllis reminds them that when it comes to Sharon, “stupidity is always on the table” and she might have confided in her new tenant Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) about everything they did. Nikki tells them to wait it out, and as far as they know everything is fine.
Faith sits with Nick, worried about where her mom is. She needs reassurance from Nick. He feels she is old enough for the truth. He admits that he thinks she is coming. She gets upset, saying they always get so close to getting happy, but it never lasts. He believes this time it will. All she wants is for her mom to show up and for them to get married.
Jack continues to keep the minister around as Noah wants to know why their mom ghosted her own wedding. Mariah hugs him as he wants to know why Tessa is there after what she did. Mariah talks briefly about how much she misses Hilary (Mishael Morgan) at GC Buzz, then he questions Tessa about being back in town, but they are interrupted by Summer. She lets it slip that Mariah and Tessa are a couple; Mariah says it’s not a secret but didn’t know the right time nor place. Noah excuses himself needing some time.
Abby reveals to Arturo how Nick is going through this again. She wishes there was something she could do. Victoria tries to comfort Nick, who wants this to be a bad dream, but he is holding out hope. Billy jokes that Sharon sure knows how to liven up a wedding, but he doesn’t want to talk about Nick and Sharon right now. He wants an answer, reiterating that he wants to marry her. He knows it’s scary, but they can have that spontaneous life even as a married couple. She admits he caught her off guard and needs time.
Sharon Finally Shows Up
Victor wants to leave, but Nikki wants to stay for the grandkids’ sake too. The minister says they need to prepare the church for the next event and Nick is out of choices. He thanks everyone, and Mariah stands up after she receives a message. She shouts for everyone to get in their places and find the minister. He tells Noah it means the world to him that he is there.
The wedding procession begins, everyone laughing as Christian and Faith walk up the aisle. The moment is here for Sharon to come in and everyone rises to greet the beautiful bride, but neither her nor Nick are smiling. He asks if she is okay and she nods. She apologizes for keeping them all waiting. She is there now and if Nick is ready, the minister will start.
Billy And Phyllis’ Shock Engagement
As Nick says his vows, she tears up and smiles. Phyllis leans in to Billy and says, “Yes, I will marry you!” Billy wraps his arm around her and kisses her. Sharon isn’t sure she can speak as eloquently as he can, but Nick is sure whatever she wrote will be as beautiful as she is. Half way through her loving, emotional vows, she makes eye contact with Phyllis and stumbles. She rips up her vows and Nick asks if she is okay. She says she wrote the vows last night and now she needs to say what she is thinking right now; tossing the tiny pieces to the floor.
Nikki looks from Phyllis to Victoria as Sharon talks about how Nick said after his last proposal he wanted to make her feel special and she was his one true love; and she believed him. She felt all the bad stuff was behind them, they learned from their mistakes and it would be different this time; that anything was possible for them. He convinced her that what they had was worth fighting for and with honesty there was nothing they could overcome. He wasn’t honest.
Sharon’s Meltdown At The Altar
She turns to Phyllis and the group, saying she is glad she came because she wanted to see the look on his face when she told him that she can’t marry him because unlike his meaningless words; his sacred vows were a joke. He lied when he stood up there, he lied to her and his children. He can’t love, honor and cherish her while he is cheating on her with Phyllis. Both Billy and Jack look at Phyllis as Sharon says she knows they slept together. Billy says, “You and Nick?”
