Summer And Phyllis Catch Up
At Jabot, Summer (Hunter King) is impressed Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) dyed her hair back to red and both talk about Ashley and what happens with Fenmore’s now. Phyllis says people see crisis and she sees an opportunity, telling Summer to “stay tuned!”
Meanwhile, Abby understands what Ashley did was wrong but she wishes she would have supported her more and maybe she wouldn’t have felt so along. If she didn’t feel so alone and unloved she wouldn’t have gone to such an extreme; Jack admits he is largely to blame, but Traci says this was a group effort that pushed her that far.
Jack continues his pep talk about being family and they need to protect each other, asking if each of them can put their beef with each other aside and set things right for Team Abbott.
Tessa Romances Mariah
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) presents Mariah (Camryn Grimes) with a latte that is supposed to have a heart on top, but is disappointed when Mariah doesn’t see the heart. Mariah kisses her until she forgives her as they talk about Halloween. Nick (Joshua Morrow) arrives with Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Christian (James and Alister Tobias), who shares she is looking forward to Halloween but doesn’t want to do anything since they aren’t doing it with Sharon.
This #Halloween, we’ve got bags of tricks, tons of fright, and things that go bump in the night. 👻 You don’t want to miss #YR this week! pic.twitter.com/TJmQEvLN78

Sharon is dealing with a victim on the phone, as Rey admires her work; Sharon feels guilty for not being able to help Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil). Sharon invites Rey to a Halloween party.
Faith Gives Nick Advice
Faith talks to Nick about kids being “collateral damage” between single parents; she feels it takes more than the tricks up his sleeve to win her mom back as Sharon talks about Rey a lot at home. Nick distracts her by saying they should head out to the Pumpkin Patch before it gets too late.
Lola (Sasha Calle) arrives at Crimson Lights and shortly after, Kyle (Michael Mealor) walks in. Lola tells him she needs two qualities in a man – he has to be honest and available. She says he can’t even be honest with himself when he says those are his two most redeeming qualities as she says he has strings all over him and every single one of them leads back to his ex. He insists Summer is a friend, and not even a good one. He says he has moved on, but Lola shows him what moving on looks like when she walks out of the coffee house.
Sharon Prepares For Halloween
Sharon tells Rey more about the Halloween party is at Crimson, and jokes that she didn’t want her grumpy old neighbor to complain about the noise. He says that is the worst invitation ever, but rushes out when he realizes he is late meeting Lola but assures Sharon he will be there.
Nick brings the kids to the GCPD, Faith invites Sharon to join them and she suggests Mariah come along too. Mariah is busy talking to Tessa about couple costumes when she tells Tessa they are off to the Pumpkin patch as per Sharon’s request; Mariah says they are taking her car insisting the guy following her the other day, was only her imagination.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) asks Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about business leases, admitting she has a mini panic attack every time she checks her email. They haven’t heard anything since they sent the money a week earlier; but still are concerned that it would only take one anonymous tip. Nikki receives an unknown call, saying she needs time to make arrangements, which makes Victoria nervous.
Abbott Family Still Reeling
Jack likes that Phyllis went back to “Red” and reveals that Kyle is busy revamping the synergy project for Fenmores; Billy (Jason Thompson) arrives for the Jabot meeting to begin. Jack says this is time for the Abbott family to unite as the rumor mill is abuzz; Billy wants to move forward with Jaboutique, but Lauren (Tracey E Bregman) reminds him that Ashley made a lot of changes while he was in rehab.
He feels they can make a full recovery as Jack thinks they have too few products but Billy feels its a new experience. Summer comes in with a report Phyllis tells her to take a seat, even though she isn’t an executive.
Rey Crashes Nick And Sharon’s Family Outing
Nick is thoroughly enjoying their family time; he asks Mariah to take some photos of the Nick and Sharon with the kids. Just as Mariah wants to take the kids to the petting zoo, they run into Rey and Lola; Faith reveals to Rey that she feels like she should already know him since Sharon talks about him all the time.
Traci says the question of the day is who should be the next CEO of Jabot; quickly having Jack and Billy jabbing at each other. Traci reminds them they are all Team Abbott,
Phyllis says there is a third candidate that she feels they can all get behind – Phyllis! Billy says Jabot was created by a man, but Phyllis reminds him, he was standing on the shoulders of a woman and this company should not be ran by someone who is not reckless and destructive and acting out. Jack doesn’t think Phyllis has the expertise to run a company this size; but she feels Jack and Billy’s expertise is what brought them here and they need to think about the future.
Victoria And Nikki Get Bad JT News
Victoria wants to know why Nikki is getting so upset about a water pipe. She learns the water pipe is in Chancellor Park, directly underneath the sculpture. Victoria whispers, “JT!” as Nikki explains they have to remove the sculpture to gain access to the waterline beneath it. Victoria pleads with her, but Nikki says they can try to put them off a little longer but they will figure it out; Victoria tells her mom she will not let them find his body.
Traci admits that Phyllis is fairly new to Jabot, but she fires back saying that is true about anyone who isn’t an Abbott. She tells them to take the backstabbing out of the equation and run the company the right way. Billy leaves as Traci suggests they table the discussion right now; Jack praises Phyllis on what she said and wishes her luck. Summer tells her mom she was incredible as Nikki messages her saying an emergency charity meeting at Victoria’s office.
Lola Is Done With Kyle
Rey gets Faith’s opinion, getting two pumpkins. Tessa learns from Lola that she doesn’t plan on dating Kyle anymore; hating how Summer pushes his buttons. Tessa reminds her that Kyle would much rather be with her. Nick continues to try to spend time with Sharon, asking her to go through the corn maze with her for old time’s sake. Mariah confronts Sharon, asking if she is letting Nick pressure her into getting back together.
Abby sits with Traci, who feels they need to find a CEO the sooner the better. Traci doesn’t want Phyllis running the company but Abby thinks Phyllis made a good case for herself and it might be good for the Abbott family if it wasn’t one of them running the company. Billy and Jack bicker over Phyllis as Summer taunts them both, saying the daughter of lions are lions too and they shouldn’t underestimate her.
Lola meets with Kyle at Crimson, explaining she came to talk so there are no misunderstandings. She feels Kyle has no boundaries with Summer, and he can enjoy his ego trip with her as she won’t tolerate it; if he wants her to stay he needs to give her a reason. Kyle admits she makes him laugh. He can’t get her out of his mind and he misses her.
Panicked Nikki Tracks Down Sharon
Rey reveals to Sharon he has never been pumpkin picking before. He hopes to one day go apple picking and see the leaves change, but will take someone along. They agree to get out more often; Nikki interrupts them, saying she has been trying to get a hold of her all day. Rey finds it suspicious that Sharon has to leave for another charity meeting.
Kyle promises he will set the record straight, Lola says he can call her then and maybe she will be available then. At Dark Horse, Nick checks out the decorated pumpkins as Faith suggests they should be part of Dark Horse’s first annual Haunted house; Faith wonders if Sharon will invite Rey and what he would dress up as.
Rey Grows More Suspicious Of Cover-up Crew
Rey sits at GCPD with all four ladies’ names and Charity Meeting with a big question mark behind it, while they meet at Victoria’s office freaking out about what they are going to do. Phyllis says they have two options, they can let the workers fix the pipe, find the body and they all go to prison or they can dig up JT and move him before it is too late!
