He goes on to say John was quite the exceptional guy and apologizes for everything he put Dina through the past few months; promising to put the family right again. Dina thanks him for being so lovely, but asks him who he is.

Billy Avoids Phyllis

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) stares into the CEO office at Jabot and calls Billy (Jason Thompson) who is avoiding her. She says they really need to talk and she won’t stop fighting for him. Jack asks Billy go with him, as he has something to show him.

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is thrilled to have girlfriend, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) back in Genoa City, who gives her a present. Mariah says the next time she goes away, Tessa should come with her but she can’t until she gives the sharks what they want. Inside, Sharon (Sharon Case) is enjoying Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) company, when he does a fake interrogation but it really gets to her.

An Awkward Abbott Family Breakfast

Jack pretends Billy was in on having the family breakfast, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) feel Jack is pushing it as Traci (Beth Maitland) feels Jack is doing this with good intentions as everyone sits down. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) walks in, saying she will take the last seat, looking at Billy, “They can vote us out of CEO, but can’t vote us out of our very own family!” Jack invites her to sit down.

Mariah learns that Tessa will be able to pay everything off in about a year; but she hates that this is taking over her life. Mariah is also curious about how close Sharon is getting to Rey. Rey apologizes to Sharon about making her feel awkward, but she fends it off making it worse when she says everything wrong about what she does to her mattress in her own bedroom; thankfully Mariah interrupts them.

Mariah Suspicious Of Rey And Sharon

Mariah applauds Sharon for moving on from Nick (Joshua Morrow) but also wonders if Rey is part of the reason she isn’t giving into to Nick this time. Mariah reminds her that her heart is in a vulnerable place and Rey is everywhere and things can get very complicated; she’s concerned how quickly Sharon did a 180 when it came to Rey.

Jack doesn’t want to cut Ashley out of his life, feeling eventually they have to talk. Billy doesn’t think she has the right to do this after the sabotage job she did to him when he was CEO. Billy feels he owns what he did and others at the table should own theirs too; pointing to Kyle and everyone should own that too. Billy wants them to acknowledge him leading a gamble free life and he should be reinstated; Kyle disagrees.

Jack is just grateful they are talking and they need to put business aside and be a family, and love each other despite of their differences. If John were at the table, this is what he would be telling them, that there is no task more important than repairing and nurturing a family that meant everything to him and Jack is willing to try. Jack asks who is with him, as Dina cries.

Phyllis walks into Crimson, and Mariah says they should throw her out but Sharon says they still have business together. Sharon says she can handle the b*tch and Phyllis hears them, says that is good because they have something to discuss and it is private.

Abby confronts Billy, Kyle and her mom for what they did; especially her mom for using her and her special bond with her grandmother to punish her Uncle Jack. She never thought Ashley could do something so horrible.

Ashley apologizes to Abby and tells Billy that he does matter and she does respect him; but she isn’t going to apologize to Jack nor is she going to beg for forgiveness. She points fingers at everyone else faults and orders them all to never think they are better than her. She doesn’t care if John Abbott’s blood is coursing through Jack’s veins because he is nothing like him and never will be!

Traci yells at her but Billy stands up and says since Ashley is being horrible, so can he. He tells her she is half right, they have all screwed up and some are pretty good at it, but for decades Ashley acted like she was above it all, if only her newer deceptions had the staying power. He leaves to Jabot, saying he will do his best to make it right, with or without a title. Dina doesn’t understand why everyone is so angry. Kyle stops Billy before he leaves, demanding him to deal with Summer (Hunter King) as he knows they slept together and she deserves to know where she stands with him.

Traci Fed Up With Ashley

Abby manages to calm down Dina as they apologize for upsetting her. They promise not to do this during meals. Traci tells Ashley she is disappointed in her but Ashley feels the same about her, feeling she is the only one who stood up to Jack’s hypocritical and selfish behavior. Traci advises her to leave.

Mariah tells Rey that Sharon is too proud to let anyone think Phyllis intimidates her, plus they are working on a charity project; Rey feels Sharon is a better person than he is. Mariah wants to know more about him. Outside, Phyllis learns that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) did pay $1 to their blackmailer, which concerns her that it could go either way. Sharon taunts her that Billy is probably enjoying his life, and she should consider herself just another annoying, toxic habit he needs to quit.

Summer arrives at Jabot as Billy called her in. She admits she was worried about him. She is ready to be part of his new and improves life. He says the first year of rehab is to be taken solo and she doesn’t seem to be hearing him. She feels the best thing for her is him; explaining how no illness is going to scare her away as she cares too much for him.

Rey Brings Up J.T. Questions For Sharon

Mariah questions Rey about how he is going out of his way to befriend her mother. She threatens him, saying he will be sorry if she finds out this conveniently located friendship includes more benefits than coffee and cupcakes. He understands and says she reminds him of his sister, Lola (Sasha Calle); which is a compliment. She thanks him for listening, but before she leaves he wants to ask her about JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill), wondering if she remembers anything about their ladies’ night. Sharon stops him from questioning her, but he suggests they can continue it at the GCPD; before she can walk away, Rey wants to know why Sharon is so irritated with him?

Jack wants to know from Kyle how he could possibly think manipulating Billy back into his addiction was a good idea. They both are devastated by what Ashley said at the dining room table. Jack hates what Kyle did, but he understands it better now; he suggests Kyle gives Billy time but if an Abbott truly wants to recover, they have to learn to forgive. Kyle hopes that will happen, so does Jack.

Kyle Freaks On Ashley

Kyle finds Ashley at GCAC, calling her arrogant and saying had she paid Andrew with her own money, she would have gotten away with it. She taught him the lesson on arrogance. She reminds him of his own enthusiasm for what he was doing, but he is very regretful and that he wasn’t any better than Billy and he was stupid; but at least Billy can blame his mistakes on gambling. Meanwhile at Jabot, Summer is not getting what Billy is saying, feeling there is a reason he called her when he hit rock bottom. He says there is one hell of a good one; but one she isn’t going to like!

Mariah notices how odd things are between Sharon and Phyllis and how they are so welcoming with each other and if she is so friendly with her and Rey, why did Sharon practically yank her away from the table. Sharon tells Rey that she forced Mariah to go to Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) place that night and the only blessing was that Mariah passed out before JT showed up that night. Rey says Mariah is strong and she should have witnessed Mariah interrogating him.

At the Abbott house, Ashley comes home to see everyone discussing what is best for Dina; Ashley says it is best for her to move out as she is the source of the tension and she can’t stay where she isn’t wanted.

Billy Drops Summer Bomb On Phyllis

Billy tells Summer he has tries to be reasonable, but she isn’t getting it so he will be blunt. He has no romantic interest in her. Phyllis barges in on their conversation, asking what is going on. Billy says, “I was just telling Summer the only reason why I slept with her was knowing what it would do to you when you found out! There you go, now you know!”
