The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that fans may have jumped to the wrong conclusion when Victor was mentioned. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) both appeared in the 1980s. Victor Newman, about five years before Victor Kiriakis. Although Braeden is only 81, fans certainly were concerned about another soap icon. After all, there aren’t too many of the older actors left.

Eric seems to be in good health and Victor is back making demands and working deals even if he isn’t CEO at Newman Enterprises. Victor is highly involved in trying to take down Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Victor knows that McCall is up to no good and plans to stop him before Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) gets hurt.

Y&R Spoilers – Fans Worry That Eric Braeden Could Retire

Another concern of Y&R fans is that Braeden could retire and abandon the role of Victor. However, Eric seems quite content in the role and has not given any indication of retiring any time soon. Eric recently posted a video of himself working out at the gym. Eric seems to like to box and is very good at it. Victor is portrayed as the same age as Eric although Victor doesn’t seem to be the boxing kind.

Fans can sometimes get a bit carried away when something happens to one popular actor. However, there is no way to predict the future. Fans just have to enjoy their favors while they can and be glad they were there for whatever duration they survive. However, Y&R seems just as content to have Eric as he is to be there.
