The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates tease that Hunter King is working on a new film project. The actress previewed the new movie that she’s working on with some surprising images.

The actress, who’s also known as Summer Newman on the daytime drama soap, took to Instagram to share some photos and videos of her shooting her scenes in the new movie. Her post was accompanied by a Christmas song, Let It Snow, that made the mood creepier.

King is set to appear in a Top Dead Center Films Untitled Thriller as Jael Jones. The production of the movie is underway. The actress captioned her post, “Just your typical week on the set of a horror movie.”

In her video, she can be seen in a setting with an icy landscape. In one of her videos, she can be seen leaning over a bicycle and throwing up. Some of the pictures showcased King wearing bloody clothes and makeup.

The Young And The Restless – Puts Out Casting Call For Summer Newman

King has been portraying the role of Summer Newman on and off the screen since 2012. This week, the actress will make a brief appearance on the show when her alter ego video chats with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

The Young and the Restless recently put out a casting call for King’s character. Some believe that it’s just a strategy to convince King to take on a new deal with the network.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will shut down Phyllis’s idea when she says that maybe Keemo Nguyen (last played by Phillip Moon) was the one sending messages to Jack. The latter says Keemo emailed him about his desire to change his name as a way to honor his mother’s family. He’ll also come up with some excuses as to why he doesn’t have Keemo’s number.

Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will also join the conversation and will learn about the mysterious texts that Jack has been getting. They will have more questions, which will force Jack to admit that he hasn’t talked to Keemo for years.

He’ll insist that Keemo has decided to keep him out of his life and refused any effort to reconnect. Jack revealed that he tried to reach out to his son once but warned him to never do it again because he no longer wants anything to do with him.
