The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Does Noah Newman Still Pine For Tessa Potter?

If a soap is going to bring a legacy character like Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) back to the canvas after several years, why not give him a big, hot story right off the bat. As it stands now, Noah has been back in town for months and he has done nothing but stare longingly at Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) with no actual direction in life. He seems enthusiastic about joining Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to work at New Hope, but it also seems like fake enthusiasm.

Noah is the son of an iconic couple, Sharon and Nick, and deserves more than this. He should have returned with a bigger secret than a bad breakup in Europe and maybe even a new woman on his arm. Instead, we see him maybe one or two times a week and the only time he smiles is when he is talking to a woman who is going to marry his sister. It’s noticeable to his parents, but they also don’t seem to see what a problem this is.

Y&R Spoilers – Noah Newman And Tessa Potter Didn’t End Well

The way things are written now, it’s as if Noah wasn’t furious with Tessa when he first left town. Not only did Tessa only date him to con him out of money because he was rich, she then began her relationship with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) — a genuine relationship — while still dating Noah. He was absolutely infuriated after that and seemed to have no feelings for her when he left for Europe.

In addition, Tessa is a character who finally had to admit to her own self that she was gay and she genuinely fell in love with Mariah. Noah knows this and he now sees how much in love his sister is with this woman as they plan to marry and start a family.

There is no chance for Noah and Tessa and rather than allowing Noah to pine for her, Y&R needs to give him a love interest of his own or scrap the idea of him being back until the writers can find him a story. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how this story plays out.
