CBS The Young and the Restless leaked info reveals that in Genoa City, Wisconsin it looks like Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) was behind Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) near shooting. Our CBS insider is spilling the dirt that Alyssa looks to be the one responsible for Adam’s near murder and that she framed Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to take the fall.

Alyssa (Maria DiDomenico) has plenty of reason to be furious with her childhood friend. Not only did he kill her father he tried to use her to get revenge on his own dad, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

He was unscrupulous in trying to use her even though she stood by him and Billy (Jason Thompson) is the perfect candidate to frame him as he more than anyone has reason to want to see Adam dead.

Cover Up Involving Adam Newman?

Sadly Billy and Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) daughter Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) was accidentally killed by Adam. Years ago Adam hit Delia and drove on, not realizing what had happened. It was a mystery that took a long time to solve, but once Adam (Mark Grossman) was outed as the killer, Billy swore to get revenge on him. He has done just that in less than lethal ways so it makes sense that he would continue his vendetta to the end.

Both Alyssa and Billy were working together to get back at Adam for the ways in which he wronged them. Alyssa knew exactly how much Billy hated Adam and that he would be the perfect fall guy if someone tried to kill Adam.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Happens Next In Genoa City?

Adam is now the PCPD’s number one suspect in the shooting that missed Adam but took down Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz; currently being played by Justin Gaston). The big reason for that is that it was Billy’s gun that was used in the attempted murder.

If you remember, there was a break-in at Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) home not too long ago. Billy blamed Adam, but he swore it was not him. Could Alyssa have been the culprit?

It’s possible that Billy had a gun in the house and that Alyssa broke in and stole it. If she did, it would explain how Billy’s gun was used in the attempt on Adam’s life.
