The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that our inside source at CBS has heard the most astonishing dish and it has to do with a character some fans thought was gone for good. Is it possible that Hunter King is back as Summer Newman, just weeks after she left the CBS sudser?

According to our CBS insider, Hunter is back on the show on recurring status. That will be music to the ears of fans who could never get enough of Summer Newman. But Summer is one half of Skyle, so what is the deal with Summer’s new husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)? Both characters are in Milan, living their best lives with his son Harrison Lock (Kellen Enriquez).
Y&R spoilers – What Happens Next On The CBS Sudser?
Harrison was a complete surprise to Kyle when his baby momma brought him to Genoa City, Wisconsin. She initially claimed that the child was her husband Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) son. No one was the wiser until a wrong ‘un spilled the news in a bid to ruin Kyle’s life. Mission accomplished!
The strange truth stunned Kyle and sent Summer down the rabbit hole that she’s been known to frequent. Their engagement was called off and all kinds of drama and he-said, she-said shenanigans ensued. But the course of true love is not without pitfalls, and eventually these two found their way back to each other, albeit on the other side of the world.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Hunter King Returns To The Daytime Drama?
Fans have not stopped asking for Skyle to return to town. If our source is correct, Summer will once again be seen, but not Kyle. Apparently the word is that TPTB are not interested in bringing back Kyle, and the reason why could easily be just about anything.
What will Summer get up to in her limited appearances? She is a troublemaker of the first degree, so we suspect she will rock the boat, and there are plenty of boats she doesn’t like. Namely, she loathes Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who ironically was the one who got her a dream job in the fashion industry in Milan. It will be interesting to see if and how the show reincorporates Summer, stay tuned fans, we will update you as soon as we hear news about this rumor.

Well,well knew it was a matter of time. Their is not enough bad ladies on here that we need another. Chelsa is back to her old self. And of course That will mean Sally will not get to see what she can bring to this show. You will have Chelsa,Phyllis,Lauren and now Summer bringing her down. Sally needs to recuit Chloe and Tracie, you need Tracie in a good role, this could be her chance to shine and put some of these bad girls in their place. You brought Sally from B&B let her show what she can do in the fashion world. These 4 women need to set down and be taught a lesson. They are 4 bullies. I am rooting for Sally, and for Chloe to get out from under Chelsa"s thumb. Chloe needs to step-up and tell Chelsa,Phyllis and Lauren this is how it is going to be. And Summer causing alot of trouble again. Summer started the war, it is time for Sally tostop letting these 3 run over her. As long as Summer does not whine like her mom and want everything she has not earned she might be alright this time aroung. At least Nick will get his supergirl back.No is the answer on Summer, we have a lot of bad girls here.
I thought Summer said she would not come back by herself, that her and Kyle were a package deal.
Seriously, there isn't enough good stories or screen time for the women we already have on this show! The show should be focusing on good stories for the ladies already patiently waiting for a decent story. Nikki, Sharon and Lauren all veterans in need of a good story. Then there was the return of Amanda and Lilly who haven't had anywhere near a good story and don't even get me started on Abbys lackluster baby dreary excuse for drama! Keep bringing more mouths to feed isn't the answer to putting an entertaining story on the table, because it couldn't be done yet with those already brought back.

Agree with everything said except Amanda/Hillary coming back. Back burner for her and her whole family, for sure.
Thank you. I don't mean any offense to the actress playing Summer or indeed any other actresses. It just seems the show already has more than enough actresses and for that matter actors too. Surely there are more than enough people already waiting in the wings who need to be and could be utilized for more interesting stories without bringing even more to cause further waiting on the sidelines. I thought Ms King had some promising options, why would she want to be added to a sideline cast list!
NO on Summer coming back she has caused enough trouble in Genoa City. Time to let some of the other ladies shine Instead of Summer,Phyllis,Lauren,Chelsa. $ bullies, let the others show what they got and can do{Chloe,Sharon,Tracie,Elena,Sally and Lilly}. These ladies give it their all time to get them off the back-burner and Show what they were set out to do. I think some of them have paid their dues. We the fans want to see good storylines from these women. We would like to see something new in 2022. Not the same thing. The men need to stand back and watch these ladies shine. Tired of all cheating and using them. I am pulling for these 6 ladies to become some of the leading ladies not the same ones over- and-over again.
A real twist would be for Sally and Summer to become friends. Summer has her dream job and dream life. I would love to see her ask others to leave Sally alone
