The Young and the Restless Star Jason Thompson Encouraging Fans To Tune In!The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful might have lost some viewers now that both AT&T U-Verse and DirecTV has both pulled the plug on the CBS network, but that doesn’t mean fans will no longer be able to watch their favorite daytime television soaps. As a matter of fact, there are several different ways that fans can still tune in, despite both AT&T U-Verse and DirecTV’s controversial move to drop CBS after they failed to come to a new deal with the network. Here’s what you need to know.

The Young and the Restless News – DirecTV Pulls The Plug on CBS

For many weeks now daytime television stars have been urging fans to reach out to the two companies to keep CBS in their channel lineup. The Young and the Restless fans and The Bold and the Beautiful fans who have either DirecTV or AT&T U-Verse are their cable network provider sadly won’t be able to tune in to their favorite soaps any longer.

“CBS has put our customers into the middle of its negotiations by pulling its local CBS stations in 14 cities,” said AT&T in a statement. “We were willing to continue to negotiate and also offered to pay CBS an unprecedented rate increase. That increase would present CBS the highest fee we currently pay to any major broadcast network group, despite the fact that CBS stations are available free over the air.”

Thankfully, there are still many ways that fans can tune in to watch all of the drama go down in Genoa City and The Bold and the Beautiful’s fictional Los Angeles. One of the fastest and easiest ways to watch all of your favorite CBS daytime and primetime television shows is with a CBS All Access subscription with a small fee per month.

Actor Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) also shared a list of networks that air The Young and the Restless late at night on different markets all throughout the country. Of course, you can also change your cable provider to one that carries CBS as well. There are still so many out there that has the network in their lineup.

    CBS is using this as an excuse. They fire the best meteorologists in Knoxville TN. The CBS was Botycott. Due to his religious beliefs. Now B&B has drug out the baby drama on Beth Y&R has had long drawn out on the tumor. Now here come another tumor. Blame the writers for constantly repeating the shows on the other shows. CBS is still barely holding the its own on Comcast which people on changing the channels from 12 noon until 7 during the day. They are trying for more money for their lost. Bring back our weather guy give Beth to Hope and watch their ratings may start back and they will give your channels back. Too liberal.
