This past weekend Braeden read an advance copy of Scott’s upcoming memoir, Always Young and Restless: My Life On and Off America’s #1 Daytime Drama. She has discussed some of what is in the book and there are some very sad events from her childhood that she delves into.
What did Braden think of the book? He tweeted, “(I) haven’t put it down yet!” and pronounced that the blockbuster tome was a complete, “page-turner.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers – Eric Braeden is very impressed with Melody Thomas Scott’s memoir
The actress recently appeared on The Talk to promote her book and left many of her fans saddened when she described the childhood abuse she experienced. “I was living a rather unusual existence in my family home,” she said, “and I knew I wasn’t living the life of a normal little girl.”
Braeden tweeted about this painful past posting, “Just wish I could have protected her then and knocked (her abusers) on their ass!!!”
