Most of us have, ahem, let ourselves go a bit during the time we’ve had at home, eating to our heart’s content and letting our hygiene take a breather. Not Bergman, in fact, he’s reversed the lockdown trend—he is more handsome than ever and you definitely need to check out his fantastic new persona.

Bergman recently took part in a Y&R Q&A session and at that time fans saw a look that could definitely be Jack Abbott’s twin brother. We still recognize the hunky star but this time around his hair is more fluffy and natural and he has a serious man beard and ‘stache that make him look even more handsome if that’s possible.

And he’s wearing a t-shirt, something Jack Abbott apparently hasn’t heard of. Yep, in place of Smilin’ Jack with his slicked-back hair and carefully mowed jaw, we now have a rougher hewn man with all of Jack’s charm intact.

Which brings to mind the question, how will TPTB handle Bergman’s new fashion statement? They could make his return to his pre-COVID appearance but we think having Jack appear as Bergman does today is a fabulous idea.

All it would take as a way of an explanation is for Jack to go off to Sedona once again for a short siesta and have him come back with maybe a little less hair to make it plausible but still hairier than Jack’s old normal–this will be his new normal!

Y&R plans to resume filming later this month following its mandatory coronavirus hiatus. Technically Bergman is in a high-risk category for catching the virus due to his age; he is 67-years old—I know, hard to believe!

We will have to wait and see how TPTB handle that issue. At any rate, Jack is long overdue for a romance and fans have been clamoring for him and Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) to bring the heat. Now that LaRue has just won a Daytime Emmy For Outstanding Guest Performer on Y&R now is the perfect time to bring her back.
